★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Public beach and expansive, tree-filled park with plenty of vehicle parking. Beach is frequently cleaned and there are free and clean toilets with shower facilities available for use. People come here to fish in the canal and ride horses at the stable in the same area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This area of the park is ideal for jogging and sitting on a bench for some quiet enjoyment and reflection. The beach quality is not ideal for swimming and there are not a lot of other facilities or shops. Quite a few mosquitoes around so it might be wise to use a patch.
