I always believe there's no bad children, just bad parenting. I've eaten here more than 5 times since they've opened and tonight, with my daughter, was disappointing. To the management: please train your staff on manners, service quality and order processing. Previous times, customers go collect their food when their numbers are chimed. Today, it was just left at the counter and the number chime was not even switched on. When asked about how long has the food been left there, he replied that he already said he was sorry and added "what more do you want?". Its only a coffeshop. How far can a dine-in customer be? He chose to have my food left at the collection counter rather than to step out of the stall to look for me and it didn't occur to him to use the number chime. One of my order tonight was a spaghetti aglio olio with clams and mushrooms as sides but was instead given fish and mushrooms. This is not the first time we have ordered this dish. The fish was not the problem but the entire dish was bland. Salt was added but it didn't help. Only one third was consumed. I hope the management will put in more effort to ensure positive experiences for customers. If they think that food alone can make up the "pull" for the business, well, there's always self-fulfilling prophecies in the "push" as in pushing customers away.

The food came 40+ mins after we ordered there. One of the pasta dish we ordered, they didn't put salt AT ALL. I assumed they forgot cos we had the exact same dish weeks ago and it tasted fine. Just imagine a cream pasta with NO salt. I believe that Customer service is part of the experience.but the attitude of the cashier (dyed hair, glasses) makes the whole experience terrible. Has 0 Patience at all when taking your order. Super impatient and rude, throws you your change, and don't expect a simple thank you. It won't come.

Ordered two big plates of pasta that came with drinks. Portion sizes are huge but meals are generally carb heavy and not nutritionally balanced. It would be nice if they offered set meals that combined pastas with salads and vegetables. The pasta Bolognese was greasy and bland and the DIY pasta provides opportunity to customize to your taste. I played it safe by ordering a seafood pasta with a tomato sauce. Tomato sauce is what makes the difference between good and great Italian food and their sauce is satisfactory but not outstanding.

My honest assessment is the steaks and pasta are of average quality and run-of-the-mill standard. There's really nothing to shout about, not lousy but not fantastic either. So if you are okay with mediocre food then this is the place to eat.

Revisit May 2021: New people cooking. Food seems lousy and unfresh now. This stall space has seen a few different hawkers come and go in the last years due to little foot traffic. I'm glad that a new pasta and grilled meat place has taken over, since this area lacks a "western" options. I say "western" but this is not your old fries and cutlet hawker stall. They do a variety of pasta and grill steaks and salmon, with sides like broccoli and cauliflower. And yes, they still have fries and chicken ?cutlets. You can pick your own meat in a meat chiller and they will grill it up for you. A rare thing to see in a neighborhood hawker stall. The potions are huge, for the burgers and pastas. I usually bring a box to take away unfinished food. The taste is, well, above average. Not gourmet, and certainly won't be the best you tasted, but a cut above the usual western hawker stalls for sure. If only because of their huge selection.

Ordered pomodoro with clams and chicken plus side order of sirloin. Beef was tough and had smell. Mushroom soup was quite bland. Asked for chilli sauce but was told it ran out. At least the burger was moist and hot.

Pasta is nice and generous portion. Ordered chicken too but forgot to take pict. Chicken also nice, just that portion quite small. But with current 20% promotion not complaining. Overall nice meal

Ordered two pastas which took a bit of time to make because only one staff today at the stall (prob cos pre-CNY). However, the pastas were not bad as both were tasty and quite large portions with lots of seafood and chicken plus they were generous with the sauces. Worth the coffeeshop prices and I liked that they had calorie counts on the menu too. Will come back to try the rest of the items.
