I was hesitant to give Pearlista another chance because of the bad experience I had at Far East Plaza branch. But I am truly glad that I did, together with my daughter for a service recovery after we provide feedback to the Manager. Master stylist Aida and her assistant Senior stylist Dora, did very well in redoing our hair color. They are very professional and able to provide proper advice and options to rectify the sloppy n horrible job done by the staff at the Far East Plaza branch. They are warm & nice & makes us feel welcome. Above all, we will definitely come back to see Master Stylist Aida & Dora. And from her work, MS Aida definitely truly deserve that title. Thank you both ladies for a job well done & making us truly happy with the end results.

Its been a while since I experienced service of a personnel going the extra mile. Today, I am humbled to get a beyond the extra mile service. Pearlista has been my go-to hairsalon for haircut and treatments since 3 years ago. The service have always been excellent but today was beyond my usual pleasant day. The head massage was just wow! I love how the staff’s know to start conversations to make me feel at ease and stop talking to let me rest and enjoy the rest of the treatment. Indeed, you can get these hair treatments in different salons but you cant get the service elsewhere like how you get here. My go-to hairdresser is amazing but so are the other 2 hairdressers. If you are contemplating, make a reservation for a simple hair treatment first and enjoy their service. you are sure to come back for more.

The experience I had at Pearlista had its ups and down. It was my first time there. I'll share on the +ve things first. I was able to book a last minute on the day which I am really thankful for. Arrived there in time and the place is small but cozy (I hoped the songs were more consistent instead of random youtube videos. The person was also welcoming at the beginning and we had a talk. The two young lady that day was also nice. I really love how their employee Seri (I'm not too sure of her name) did colouring my hair. She really took extra careful to ensure it was balanced and I was okay. The hair treatment was okay too with their equipments and everything. Price I would say reasonable and the similar for all Muslimah Hair Salon. Now now the -ve part... It was my first time there and I booked appt last min. Then when I arrived then they asked if i wanted haircut which I said yes and they kept on saying "oh next time u have to tell" in a sense which as if I was supposed to know. The person I contacted through SMS didnt inform that it will be seperate etc... Another thing is that they were the one that offered the additional hari treatment etc despite nearing their closing time, and when it was past their closing time and after we paid (we did payment before treatment was finished as they were closing) one of the lady's attitude immediately changed. She stopped speaking nicely and everything. They over processed my hair and blamed it on me because I used to bleached my hair myself (note that the bleach hair was already cut off by then). Also this is the first time I go to a salon and was "advised" to dry my hair using a hair dryer and letting it naturally dry is not enough. At the end of the day I could sense the tension between the staff. How the lady didn't say things too kindly to one of the other staff - made me as a customer in an awkward situation. My hair is dried up and frizzy sadly. Not too bad as I'm using other products to make it not dry. If you're planning to go here, why not! Just dont take their last schedule timing. If you do, don't pay first until everything is done. I heard from a friend another outlet she experienced was great (I'm not too sure which).
