β β β β β Very friendly and helpful uncle who helped me to pick out a few good tea. The prices here are quite high, and the packaging rather small, but the leaves are of really good quality! The uncle was very detailed in his recommendation, and did not try to hard sell me the more expensive tea. He was also very knowledgeable, and advised me against white tea as he said it isn't good for a lady to drink too much white tea.
We should support more of our local traditional shops so we can retain the traditional cultures in SG!

β β β β β If you like the typical Singapore Nanyang Tea, this is the place. Since 1925, this shop has been blending Chinese Tea for different occasion and taste. It has provided tea packets for more than 80% of the Bak Kut Teh (Chinese Pork Rib Soup) stalls/shops/restaurants in Singapore. It still retains some of the traditional methods of packaging tea.

β β β β β Traditional chinese tea wholesaler. The variety of tea they sell can get overwhelming, but fret not, the staff are ready to give you recommendations. My choice is a 150g oolong tea ($10.50) and it taste like the oolong tea from the bubble tea brand εθΆδΈε ? will definitely come back for more tea leaves!

β β β β β Attended a one hour tour where they explained the origins of the 4 generation business and showed the blending and roasting process. The best part was trying their original blends. Really enjoyable experience and the teas were very good.

β β β β β A 96years old, 4 generations of family business tracing the evolution of the Chinese tea trade in Singapore. An inspiring story of the excellent balance of tradition anchored on Chinese values and innovation. First time we had chilled Welcome drink (no spoilers, so cannot say what it is), and Chinese champagne tea (also cannot reveal the component contents)! Highly recommended to visit for all ages.
