Just wanted to write a note to say a very big thank you for your excellent service and going the extra mile. I was keeping my recently delivered winter wear and realised to my pleasant surprise, a cap that was damaged by myself which you had highlighted was fixed by you. Thank you so much! Thumbs up!! Ur delivery man is so nice and smiley too!! ? Definitely recommending Presto for all dry cleaning needs.

My Hermes Shawl & T-Shirt was collected on 7 Jan, returned to me on 13 Jan with lots of black lint and stains on the shirt due to colour fading from the leather-detail + hair-like strands and black lints on my cashmere shawl. WhatsApp messages were ignored when I sent through the photos asking for an answer so I had to call them on 15 Jan. Cherry (customer service manager) said that I could bring them to any of their outlets if I’m unsatisfied which I insisted that this has no relation about being satisfactory because they damaged my items. She ended up arranging for the items to be picked up again and assured that she would do a QC personally before returning. I have also reiterated that the leather’s colour would fade again if they were to soak the entire shirt in liquid solvent without covering the leather-detail and mentioned I need them before CNY. She said they will determine if the leather-detail needs to be covered. However when the driver came by on 26 Jan, the shawl was in the same condition, I didn’t even look yet and the driver pointed the lints to me. T-Shirt had new stains around the leather-detail as well which means they did not cover the leather-detail. The driver said that he will send them back. I have sent a message to them via WhatsApp again about the new stains and no change in condition, mentioning that I needed them back by Sunday but there were no replies or attempts to reach me. I called last morning (29 Jan) to check and was informed that the entire customer service team is not around. Chris (operations manager) took my call, it was clear that they have received the items but did not bother to do anything yet as he said that they were unable to meet my expectations. Is it unreasonable for me to expect my laundry to come back clean after washing? Who wants to pay for someone to damage their clothing?! These are not just $10 or $20, what audacity. He also insisted that as a manager, he is unable to do anything but in order to not spoil my CNY, he will give me 2 options: 1. Have my items collected back. 2. Wait till 4 Feb for a call back from Cherry. He also said there’s no one else that could help, there is no one else from the management and Directors in the company do not handle such cases. I had no choice but said that I would wait for a call back, who would want to wear damaged clothing on CNY? Furthermore, this incident already ruined my CNY! Did not even think before he speaks. Ridiculous company, don’t ever send your luxury items to Presto! I want everything compensated.

Sent 2 cheongsam dresses for dry cleaning on the 6th Feb. The counter staff did a thorough inspection before accepting my dresses to ensure there were no defects. 1 week later, upon collection, I noticed that one of the silk-like polyester cheongsam has a few pulled threads and it was visibly obvious to detect the damage with just bare eyes. So the counter staff suggested to send back the dress to HQ for inspection and someone else will contact me after 3-4 days. A female staff called me on 16th Feb and kept insisting that such pulled threads are very common for such material and these are defects from the dress, not due to their dry cleaning service. I was buffled by how they tried to cover up their mistakes instead of owning up and offer a fair compensation. She offered me $10 voucher out of goodwill as the dress is still wearable despite the slight damage. Feeling angered by the lack of responsibilty to own up their mistake, I immediately rejected it as that amount is not even enough to offset the $16.50 fee that I had paid for the dry cleaning service let alone to compensate the damaged dress which cost me about $300. I was told to wait 2-3days for her to escalate the matter to her manager. On 21 Feb, I received a whatsapp message from Presto claiming that their manager tried to call me but the call did not get through. As they could not reach me, they gave me their final offer of $8.25 refund. The truth was, I had no missed call from anyone that morning to afternoon. They just didn't bother to talk to me. I told them to get the manager to call me instead of trying to close the issue without proper mediation over a whatsapp message. Waited the entire day and still no call from Presto representative. In summary, I am utterly disappointed by their HQ customer service even though they charges higher fees than other drycleaners in SG. There are many more better drycleaners in Singapore that worth paying for. I'll never use their service again. I know reporting such to CASE will not help much. Instead an honest review in google may help other potential victims to fall prey to such dishonest business. If you are reading this, please make better choices if you cherish your clothes.

I had a very negative experience with this service business in 2020 and will not patronize them if given the choice. I sent in my wife’s 100% silk comforter in single size for dry cleaning to their company located in Toa Payoh Industrial Park on 24/8/2020. When I went to collect on 31/8/2020, I was told that they could not find the comforter and would inform us for collection when it is found in about 2 weeks’ time. We received a call, followed by email, from them claiming that the silk comforter was lost or misplaced and they would compensate us with S$150/- to close the case. However, we rejected as it is valued much higher than their compensated amount even if it is a used item and it has sentimental value to my wife. We demanded evidences to prove it was lost despite them claiming having CCTVs and barcoding but they did not want to disclose. The explanation we got was that it may be mistakenly issued out to someone else. We went to launch a police report on this case as we wanted to see the CCTV recording on how it went missing but the officer-in-charged failed to do it, which we could not understand how the communication was made between both parties. The officer-in-charged referred us to CASE but CASE staff was not able to assist us much despite being a communication bridge between us & Presto Drycleaners, not even mediation session with the management as such session was rejected. We think they are lacking sincerity in dealing with such case, but only want to close it with a compensation amount which they state on the fine prints of the receipt. And we do not understand why their customer service staff forwarded us some fiber filled duvets, claiming that the value is way below $150/-, without even finding out the market value of 100% silk comforter. We have not heard from them since CASE closed the case earlier this year, on the following up with the issue.
