β β β β β Attended an 8:00 am traditional worship service on level 4. The congregation was mist friendly and welcoming to visitors. I believe they need better signage to help visitors to locate where services are. We almost left because we were not able to locate where the 8:00am worship service was being held.

β β β β β If you want to experience a family like church service and enjoy nice coffee and chit chat with the people in church.... do come in. This church is very traditional. Sunday school only one session at 845am service. I enjoy the hymns and also the architectural layout... good for wedding and also a place for old folks to gather. They also have a Chinese service now March 2019 in the 11am. Come and join and see

Place of worship.
A Church where God in His Faithfullness stood behind it for more than 176 years.
It's fruithfullness comes in the reaching out
Into Senior Homes, reaching out to the Needy and now having an 0asis for the rough sleepers. It's also has a OPEN space for students who needs a space to study.
It's a beacon of light that attracts the
People in.

β β β β β A show case of God's Faithfulness & Love for His people. Went thru two world wars... More than a handful of pandemanics and still seeing His people through Covid19. A simple piece of architecture with beautiful stain glass.
And it's still a living and growing and glowing church in the midst of the Art
Central. Carry on worship...

β β β β β Read the Preservation of Monument Board plaque, and this building has such a history, dating from pre-1886. Also the founding place of the Singapore Boy's Brigade (NHB plaque) in 12 Jan 1930. This whole area is so rich in our history! ?
