Decent noodles at a low price.

Unpalatable wanton noodles consisting of cheap low-quality floury strips. A plate can still be sold cheap, but not catered for satisfying the stomach. Diluted laksa gravy. After putting into their pockets so many wads for donkey years, still not grateful enough to improve their quality and quantity to repay customers' support.

Been patronizing this stall on and off for the last year. Always amazed at their efficient orders processing and the all-women kitchen. You ask ten questions and you get ten positive answers. Positives: Their wanton are best in the neighborhood, very generous with noodles and vegetables. Prices very reasonable. Concerns: charsiews are a bit too tough and dry Overall: can la

I came to this store back in May 2022 but did not seem to have any luck.. on 30 Jun 2022, i finally managed to try their dumpling noodles.. ordered the dumpling meepok dry with chilli.. the noodles are tangy and full of bite, also the soup has a tinge of peppery taste but not too bland.. ideal for someone who cant take too much salt? lastly, the dumpling us tasty and big.. at $3 they give 3 dumplings which is fantastic.. all in all a good experience ?

For $3 a plate, I seriously think is very value for $$$. Taste actually not bad. I am not a fan of old sch char siew, But if u don’t mind, it’s really worth your stomach space. There’s this super popular wanton mee in pek Kio market at $3.50 per plate, super long queue. So, if this stall is also in pekio market, without any doubt, I will buy this to avoid the queue and yet feeling satisfied. In fact, this stall is way better than the other 2 wanton mee stalls in pekio.

I came across this stall today, and decided to give it a shot. I ordered the $4 portion. At first glance, after the noodles were prepared, the noodles didn't look exciting. However, after tossing and mixing the noodles, they appeared to look better. The noodles were done just right and they had that springy chew when bitten into. The sauce and chilli in the noodles were excellent. The char siew was nicely done, but perhaps it could have some fat on it. The wantons were also of good quality. Service staff were polite and efficient. Definitely worth another try when I am next in TGFC.
