Lying adjacent to the Singapore, Raffles Place is Beautiful. It's a sign of Singapore's giant economic strides , considering that the Singapore River used to host the very busy docks once upon a time.
There is so much to see around here and by this I'm not just referring to the Tall and gleaming skyscrapers. You have the scenic Singapore River with a plethora of restaurants serving almost everything from Seafood to Turkish ice-cream. A stroll around here will ensure that you soak in history as well with several well maintained historical buildings in the vicinity.
