Avoid this place.. Even if the 1000++ other agencies in Singapore go bankrupt.. 1 star is actually too much.. Should be -10 stars

Hi, I took a maid from this agency before because it was one of the cheapest around. Well, what can I say, you get what you paid. The maid I hired, was bad and the agent lack of service. When i told them that i intend to transfer the maid, there was no response at all. Then after few months, I informed them that I decided to keep helper and the agent just replied "Hooray" without asking me further or show any concern. In the end, I send the helper back to her hometown after 7 months she had worked for me. They also don't have an office and just operate from home and do "home service"

Be careful with this agent (R.C Employment Pte Ltd), read the contract carefully as the contract is all full of traps for employer. At first my husband and I (both working) thought that RC was good as my brother in law used them once and had no problem. First time getting a maid with them was smooth process but after 2 months of working, the maid suddenly wanted to go back to her hometown, claiming that her husband passed away and promised to return after the funeral. We were advised by the agency to let her go, as they said it was impossible for someone to make up a lie about things like that. Clearly they were wrong, as the maid never returned and blocked us in Whatsapp. We gave the agency benefit of doubt, and continued to engage them to find a replacement. RC offered to refund the remaining 2-month loan but there is no 1-1 exchange as the maid had already left Singapore. Since we were treated like getting new maid, we ended up paying another 2-month loan(4-month less the refunded 2-month) + all agency fees to get the replacement. RC also never returned the refunded insurance fee which was rightfully ours, claiming that it was stated so in the contract. Turns out the replacement is another big fat liar. Within the first month, she had left the house for 30 mins without telling us, cooked some food from our groceries for the “Bangla boyfriend’s lunch” and yet she told us she just threw some boxes downstairs and bumped into another Indonesian maid and chit-chat.we decided to return this maid to the agency and decided not to engage RC anymore as 2 ex-helpers from them are nightmares. After the incident RC initially looked supportive - they told us that they will waive the lodging fee (up to 21 days) and will refund us the remaining loan. After 21 days my ex maid has not gotten new employer yet. RC said there is another clause in the contract stating that we had to wait until max 8 weeks from the day of returning her for the refund and work permit cancellation. If we terminate the work permit before 8 weeks, RC will not refund our loan. In this period, we couldn’t get any new maid and no one is helping us, making us very difficult to manage the household as both of us are working parents. Thank God our relatives offered us some help and we managed to juggle it in the end. During the period, RC made it really difficult for us to get partial refund - late whatsapp reply, not picking up calls, and making excuses of being sick or on bedrest where we could clearly see the owner's Whatsapp status online most of the times. Fyi, this agency only has one owner and one assistant who does not have the authority for anything. Once the owner 'declared' sick, nobody can do anything. In the end, RC notified us that the refund cheque was ready for collection but when my husband collected the cheque, RC deducted the lodging fee. When we questioned RC about the lodging fee that was supposedly waived, RC had no respond, no return call, no reply to any of our messages. We tried several days to reach the owner (Rozieanna) but could not catch her until now. We just felt that this person and this company is not reliable and is not true to their words. They are pushy in terms of getting the money, but extremely difficult to ask for refund. I just hope that no one get caught in their rubbish contract anymore. Their contract disadvantages employers a lot, they have zero interest of helping employer. They also gave wrong advice and their maid are no good.

Avoid this agency at ALL cost. The Agent only said the contract is a standard contract and skipped those clauses that are not common in the normal contracts. She sent me a helper without going through medical check in her own country. When helper came, she was found to have tuberculosis. We wanted to reject the helper but they came up with a sad story about the helper being homeless back home and is an orphan. My mum played right to it and agreed to keep the helper and let her seek treatment here. Later, we found out from the helper that there isn't any medical checks done in Batam, so the medical report in Batam was actually faked. I confronted agent but she claimed ignorance and didn't give us a fair answer. After helper got her 2nd month's pay, she ran away with her friend (who incidentally was working for the agent). When we found out that she had ran away and stolen $600 from my mum's locked drawer, I called the agent, her reply was "I know cos my maid ran away too". I was flabbergasted. Agent did not seem to be making any effort to trace my mum's helper. We asked for a replacement, she wanted to charge another $850 from us and the Placement Fee will start anew! When we wanted to seek pro-rated refund of the placement fee of $4000+, she said the money paid is not refundable and that was when she highlighted the unassuming sentence embedded in a seemingly simple table! The agent also claimed that the pro-rated refund of insurance fees (which Insurance Co had sent the cheque to the Employment agency) is not due to us either, that is blatant dishonesty! RC Employment is very, very sly. Engage them at your own risk. If I have a choice of not giving any stars before I write this review, I will.
