A nice place just beside the park, makes you feel like you're in taiwan/japan kinda vibes. If you're there to try their pizzas, do call in and reserve the pizza doughs in advance, as they will be sold out sometimes.
A vegetarian place w many vegan options :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Real Food outlet is located in such an idyllic location with a beautiful view of the park. The restaurant is popular so be prepared to queue and wait for the food on weekends. We like all the food we’ve tried so far - the tofu miso burger, the stuffed portobello mushroom with cheese, the steamed dumplings, Tom yum vermicelli.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quiet place tucked in the Tzu chi humanistic youth centre. Tried the Egg Fried Noodles and mushroom soup and they did not disappoint. Especially love how creamy the soup is, and was a lovely choice to warm our tummy on a cold rainy afternoon. Also ordered tea for sharing and the small cups were very cute.
Note that even though there are plugs here, it is not working. There is a space outside where you can do your work in the youth centre itself. If you want to do work, come with your devices fully charged and enjoy the romantic idea of slow living.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent organic vegetarian food in a peaceful and zen-like environment overseeing the trees and lake in Yishun. Veggie omelette and portobello mushroom burgers were really yummy and lip smacking good. Steamed dumplings with mushrooms, tofu and veggies were delightful. And the curry noodles fragrant and refreshing with soy milk. Definitely THE place for vegetarian food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was tasty but what was even better was the overall casual, relaxed and close to nature vibes which I really enjoyed.
Had the seats by the windowpane which had lots of natural daylight streaming in. The view of Yishun pond was within sight and had such a tranquil feeling.
It will be best to visit during non peak periods as I went during the weekends and it was really crowded and there was not enough waiters on the ground to take orders, serve food, clear tables, etc. Long waiting time might be an issue.
Nonetheless, been here twice and will visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice ambiance with a lot of natural light. Friendly staff who suspected we were first timer based on our orders decided to check with us and provided us with advice when we tried to order 2 mushroom soup. Kudos to the attentiveness.
Food wise, I tried the portobello mushroom burger with potatoes salad and fried cauliflower and mushroom soup. Interestingly the mushroom soup has a bit of sourish taste which is not very common. Nice surprise though.
The burger was soft and the fried patty was crunchy. Taste wise is nice with lots of sauce. So be careful of dripping sauce. The potatoes salad and cauliflower is also pretty unique in terms of the taste. Worth trying.
Overall I would recommend the place to chill and dine. Would be good if the juice were slightly bigger glasses and I don’t mind with some ice to kept it cool. (-0.5) too bad I can’t give 0.5
