Walked in and the woman at the table couldn't have been more indifferent. Usually I'll ask for the name of the person and will address them by his or her name whenever I get into a situation in which I am parting with more cash than some people's monthly pay. This time I did not bother. This woman really turned me off. This place was nice. Small , it's Singapore anyway, but nice. I also heard the owner is pleasant. So by virtue of the owner's reputation I'll give it one more shot. If things don't improve I'm taking my business to House of Turntables.

Great service. The owner took time to explain the items I wanted to get. No hard selling and he gave me all the available options for the various brushes etc. I got my turntable from them as well and they took the trouble to deliver when I was at home. Very personal service

Owner is knowledgeable on turntable. As a beginner to vinyl world she recommends only the turntable that I need as a starter and not over selling it. Took my time to test the system and understood more from there. Spoke to some customers and learnt a lot too. Range of vinyl records to choose from, definitely a place to go if you are hunting vinyl records or turntable

Very friendly owners who are more than happy to provide information and share their love and passion for vinyls and turn tables. Pretty decent collection of vinyls across genres, and brings in up to date vinyls regularly. Great place to shop and share your passion for vinyls!

Came to purchase a brand new turntable as a upgrade. The lady at the shop was very friendly and helpful, she reccomended some setups to me and the appropriate equipment to use with the Project Debut Carbon DC turntable that I eventually purchased. Great selection of vinyl records and accessories too! Will definitely be back for records. Cheers!

I just had the worst experience ever with Retrophonic Records this afternoon!!! Went to their store and was very honest to share that I was very green did not know much about vinyl players, would need help with the products they have in display. The lady there first asked me what I was looking for and I repeated that I was looking for a vinyl player for self-use and would she introduce me the players? She started asking what my budget was, the prices start with 400 plus dollars, and I replied I am fine with price range within 1000 dollars. I checked the displayed items and giving her some details of what I was keen to look at "no black colour, timber, light colour etc", in between I asked her about the size of the players, was there smaller size or that was only one standard size. She mentioned the 2 timber based players, one to be connected with Bluetooth speaker and the other to be connected via cable. my last question was what about these two brands? She gave me the names and added on "you could google them online and then you know what to ask?" and further more, she went on with "I am not a sales, have been doing this for more than 10 years, I am someone who enjoys good music." My only comments to her was "well, you anit doing a great job as someone who claimed herself enjoying good music. Good music is to be shared!" by the way, she did not play any music in the store when I walked in. never met someone so cold and emotionless.

Ordered a vinyl through their webstore and opted for self-collection. Upon reaching the shop, the lady at the counter was friendly and welcoming. The vinyl was packed nicely and collection was hassle free. Thanks! ?

Nice little shop with friendly staff. Good collection (even better online) and reasonably priced. Lots of good old classic presses, sadly not for sale, nevertheless when you do your shopping there, just ask (nicely) the friendly staff to play it for you! Definitely a return customer.
