★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live near the hawker centre and when I was young used to frequent it. It has gained quite a following since then. After so many years I went back try the fried fish beehoon only to discover that the fried fish nuggets served in my bowl were 80% filled with batter. 4$ for a bowl of soup, noodles and fried flour is ridiculous. My mum went to try and got the same. When she advised the boss about the lack of fish the owner said she should have said earlier that she wanted more ‘fish’. I am appalled at the ethics of this stall and how the owner throws in fried flour to unsuspecting customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In all honesty it's just a very plain simple fish soup. Looks fancy and looks really popular. But taste wise, I've definitely had better fish soups around. The fish is a little too over-fried in my personal opinion, and you only get to taste the flour skin, not the fish meat, unfortunately.
