one chat with the shop owners and you can tell that they know a great deal about their craft. Was just asking about the availability of c-41 chemicals in Singapore and they went on to explain why the scarcity of it and even recommended places to source for them.

I've specifically requested Ruby Photo that I want the photos in border image and if the photos no good (e.g. not sharp, bad exposure etc) do not develop. Shop owner acknowledged and wrote down the instructions on the order form/slip. I was puzzled when I collected my photos that Ruby photo had developed all the bad photos and non of it are in border image as requested. I did not argue with the lady but highlighted to her that all my requests she acknowledged prior has not been fulfilled. The explanation given to me was that the staff did not follow her instructions etc etc....I was kind of shock when she put all the blame on the staff and forgotten that her staff is representing Ruby Photo Co.Pte Ltd....what an irresponsible shop owner who does not take ownership of the business and mistake they had created that can caused inconvenience to customer. This is my first visit to this shop and I am very disappointed with the way they managed and treat customer. Without pursuing further, I settled the payment and move on. I'm sharing this feedback based on my personal experience to forewarn amature photoghraphers who have plan to try film photography to avoid such unpleasant experience. I used to send all my film negative to Colour Lab @ Adelphi, the business owner is very attentive and produce quality service and print. Unfortunately, due to bad business, they had decided to wind up their busness, otherwise Colour lab will be my first choice.

Great place for film processing and printing supplies. Much better to call beforehand to check whether the item you need is in stock. They can help inform you when items are restocked if they're unavailable.

More than just a shop that sells film photography products (film, developing solutions, photo paper, enlarger etc.), the owners of Ruby Photo offer valuable advice from their years of experience. It is a great place to go if you are clueless about what you want. They are friendly and are able to give you suggestions and solutions to your problems.

a truly hidden gem to buy film rolls, very nice price and the aunties were very kind. I recommend this place for all the film photographers.

Ruby Photo is my favorite go-to place to stock up on film, chemicals and photo paper. Yoke and Eng are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

6/5 ⭐️. The owners were really genuine in explaining to me the types of camera to get for a beginner getting into photography. No hard sell at all, they just share with you their honest thought on the types of camera and it’s functionality. Explained to me the types of films and its differences thoroughly, they even went through the process of showing me how to put the films in, what to look out for ?, the different mode of the camera. Highly recommend this shop, idk about the film price of other shops but you can’t buy quality & good service right…. ??.
