★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The workshop is messy and dirty. Office upstairs is through a dark and cramped staircase.
I had wanted to chrome plate my turntable platters. The boss told me can and gave me a price. After I left he called to tell me cannot because the platters were not metallic. It would cost 3x the price he quoted me!! Ended up just do a polishing for slightly cheaper than the chrome plating. I have 2 turntables and thus 2 platters to polish. The job was not bad but not cheap!
