★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be very vigilant if you consider to enter a rental contract at SSA. Do not let your guard down by the amazing city view from very high floor and easy going attitudes of landlord and his agent. Check everything! From balcony door locks to marks on curtains and floors, if not written down, they will cost you dearly. Make absolutely comprehensive inventory list. After spending thousands of SGD to make our unit near perfection, we were still given a list to pay by landlord including written down and never used items. Inside, the interior is fallen apart due to age, humidity and poor workmanship. We had to make an order from Germany to replace a glass doorbell frame which fell on its own one day and broke to pieces. That goes to all electronic switches and sockets inside the condo.
