Feb 7, 2021 Sunday morning. Sunny, fairly hot after several days without rain. Said bye to the cat at the playground. It's a regular at the playground. Always sees me off my run. Decided to take a different route for this 4th half marathon in 2021 to Tuas Lamp Post 1. Start off from Taman Jurong, jog along Jalan Buruh, then Pioneer, then Tuas South Ave 3 and finally Tuas South Boulevard. Though it's a Sunday, quite heavy traffic along Jalan Buruh and Pioneer. And certain stretch no pedestrian path. Extra care needed as the traffic is heavy. I put on a bright colored tee for better visibility. Along the way, can come across MNC like GSK, Energizer and ExxonMobil which continue to invest in SG and provide jobs. At the 20th km mark, i consumed a packet of Koda energy gel to give me a final boost for the last stretch. Tuas Mega Port is under construction, even on Sundays. Surprised to see so many trucks queuing up to enter Mega Port construction site. Some truck drivers release themselves along the road side. This is unpleasant scene. It's also unhygienic. We need heavy rain to wash it clean. Done 4 already, still counting. Looks like i will do many more HM.

Good place for marine construction.. but bad for crew everything far from here

A whole brand new yard are functioning over in Tuas area. Soonest there are Singapore port which will be booming very soon. A lot of Giant warehousing building / company are built / ongoing currently. Of course as well as public transport development to make conveniency too

Its my job.. i like it.

One of the biggest yards in Singapore located at the tail end of Tuas. Do not enter via the first entrance as it is very far from the main building. Enter via the 2nd entrance after passing by the glitzy, shiny big building. They have up to 600T lifts in their mega yard. Entry is strictly by appointment with Sembcorp staff - you needa change your ID for a visitor pass.
