Had a chance to try out this coffee shop, an old school joint. Ordered Kopi-O kosong Ti-Lo (coffee black without sugar and no dilution). Decent coffee, not strong as I would expect. Bread & soft boiled ware splendid! Just as I’ve imagined. $4.20 for the set, consider above average. Would have rated 3.5 stars, but there isn’t any half star.

The noodle is a bit hard to my liking, ordered the $5 version but still feel hungry after my meal. Nonetheless the ingredients are fresh and the auntie serving the food is friendly.

Fish Ball Minced Meat Mee Pok Dry. A coffee shop with only a food stall and it was still packed at about close to 1.30pm. Verdict? I guess it falls under those go to places for workers and residents living nearby for its nostalgia.

The only reason why I see someone finish quick is due to the "Cheated Portion"; obviously uncooked noodle - old school? By mistake I'm here, after I been here, is a real mistake. Not worth your attention.

Very old school coffeeshop. Basic breakfast set that can't go wrong with otah buns which was pretty good. Price a little on the high side but acceptable.

This rare traditional kopitiam still retains some of its old school charm but the quality of the food has deteriorated since the change of owners some years back. Went to patronise again and the eggs were already precooked (just need to heat up for 2 mins) and the steamed bread were lukewarm (too lazy to boil the water I guess). Also, tea was tasteless. For $4.40, maybe supporting Yakun is better.

Very old school kopitiam. Love the steamed otah toast here - soft yet chewy bread, perfect companion to the spicy & fragrant otah! A must try! Small coffeeshop with limited seatings. Everyone waiting on bak chor mee order… which took 20 mins or so for us. The wonderful otah toast came to the rescue. ?

Said to be popular in Leng Kee area, the Mee pok has minced meat. But the small is really a small portion. The medium has pieces of crispy lard and more noodles. Unless you are a real small eater, the small bowlil is not enough. I would choose the medium size. Buy they're generous, which is good, with the tasty soup in a side bowl. The beverage stall has an assistant who grabs at the first opportunity to take your order. The milo is nice but not the teh O.
