★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Braised Duck Rice with Gizzard. I vaguely recall this stall used to sell roast duck but has did a complete 180 degrees to braised duck. The good news? Their braised duck is actually quite good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We always like coming here maybe cos the braised duck is quite old school. The meat is a little tough actually but we don’t mind. The auntie hawker is friendly. Sometimes we get duck wings to go (when they are available, which is not always the case) and keep them for dinner to go with porridge. More comfort food than anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This Hawker Center has lots of underrated stalls. Reason for not trying the last years because they do not serve noodles. Decided to give it go today. Order drum, gizzards and hearts. They are well braised. Meat is tender. Gizzards and hearts are not over cooked. Most importantly, the chillis sauce is one of the best matched. A bit spicy. $7.50 is definitely affordable!
