The cashier/order girl not only didn't speak any English (nor Bahasa Malaysia I a place that openly markets itself as being Malaysian), only Chinese, she actively made ordering more difficult, saying we couldn't order the toast/egg set. When we pointed out that it was one of the tea set options from 2:30pm she said it wasn't available because it was on 2:25pm!

Malaysian style noodles and rice dishes. Yong tau foo noodles, char Siew egg noodles, handmade soup noodles were not bad but prices are on the higher side. Curry noodles were mediocre. Didn't like the fried brown piece in the fried food basket, rest were alright.

Signature Char Siew Hor Fun @shanchengsg Smooth and Silky Hor Fun (kinda like the chee cheong fun) tossed with dark sauce which is not too sweet, topped with flavourful char siew. Location: Shan Cheng (Ipoh Delicacies), 26 Sin Ming Ln, #01-115 Midview City, Singapore 573971

Ordered food delivery from here two days in a row because the food was so good! This is definitely a hidden gem! Food was flavourful and similar to Ipohโ€™s. The chilli that comes with it is good too! A must try ?? They have several other outlets around Singapore too, but havenโ€™t tried the food from there.

Recommended by a colleague. Pretty decent Ipoh food. The Ipoh Hor Fun soup was quite good, somehow reminds me of the same dish in Old Town cafe. Prices are reasonable too. Not a lot of variety in terms of main dishes but the crispy stuff was well fried and complemented the noodle dishes. Will drop by again to try the toast.

If you crave Ipoh food, perhaps this is another go to place. Nothing fanciful but basic Ipoh noodles and they have rice dishes too. Pop by if you are nearby to satisfy your crave. The coffee is nice and think, the way I like.

Went there for breakfast. Overall 5 star. We ordered the Ipoh Dry Curry Noodle, Handmade Fishball Noodle, coffee siew dai, iced coffee si kosong and 4 pieces of Fried Sar Kok Liew (fried turnip). Ipoh Dry Curry Noodle. We ordered it to come with the yellow noodles. The curry is very fragrant and not overpowering. The noodle is cooked just nice. Like the char siew which has a nice chao tar flavor. The chicken is nice and soft. Portion is also good. So 5 stars for this. Handmade Fishball Noodle We ordered the dry version that comes with some fishball and the handmade ban mian. The fishball is bouncy and has nice fish flavor so you know that there is substantial amount of fish inside. It comes with a nice dark sauce, minced meat, fried shallots and fried anchovies. There is something else inside the sauce that is crunchy and tasty. Overall the flavor is nice and very nice different texture. Another 5 stars. Coffee The coffee is strong and nice! So nice to drink. Sar Kok Liew (Fried Turnips) Wow! This the star of the meal!! Really bring back nice memories of Ipoh! They freshy fried before serving. Nice crunchy outside and the pieces of turnip gives a nice crunch. It has a nice sweet flavour. We ordered the 4 pieces set because cheaper. Definitely worth it! Tips: Go for the set meal. Then hot drinks is only 1 dollar. Can change to cold with a small top up.
