β β β β β Many different species of colorful shrimps here. I was surprised some of these cost as much as $400 each but they sell a range starting from $2.50. The owner was polite and answered some of my questions although it was clear that I'm not buying any of the shrimps.

β β β β β Solid service, genuinely knowledgeable, responsible and cares for their livestock. Price is good given the service and quality.
10/10, would revisit when I get back into shrimp seriously.
Here's why:
I walked in for the first time, overheard the owner teach someone how to set up his tank. His detailed walkthrough impressed me.
I asked the owner about my pest problem. He answered my question fully and let me know what else to watch out for. I didn't buy anything as I had what I needed. I don't think he would've sold me any shrimp, either, on account of my issue.
I'm not sure if they were for sale, but testament to their husbandry the Boraras look fed, settled in and colored up. They usually arrive in shops thin and pale.

β β β β β If you are new to keeping shrimps, this is an excellent place to visit to get started. Save yourself the heartache of losing your shrimps as most aquariums sell many different products and may not provide you with the necessary information to keep your shrimps alive. On top of that, I've found Darick, the shop owner, helpful and willing to share knowledge. I am thankful for that.

β β β β β Undoubtedly the best place for shrimps and supplies. Owner Darick is extremely knowledgeable and does not hold back on his shrimp keeping tips. Fair price, extremely healthy shrimps and probably the widest variety of caridina, neos and Sulawesi shrimps in Singapore.

β β β β β Just visited Shrimp Affair not too long ago , I would honestly not recommend new shrimp keepers to go there. I read the google reviews before heading down even watched the interviews that the boss Derrick was in , thought I would be meeting a friendly boss but that couldn't be further from the truth. As I was new to keeping shrimps I wasn't planning on getting more than 10, the boss didn't seem too happy about that. When his regular customers walked in, he was like a whole different person always smiling treating them with good customer service when it was my turn to pay he kept the grumpy look on his face as if I owed him money. I will not patronize this shop anymore , as it seems like it's run by a gangster that only cares about high paying customers.

β β β β β Honestly the most unfriendly boss I've met. Felt so uncomfortable that I didn't even buy what I actually went there to get. Decided to go to madshrimp instead. Those guys really outshone and helped me set up my tank as well. All without even asking for help.

β β β β β Bought FRS and shrimp food. Shop is clean and well stocked. Shrimp are energetic and healthy. First time seeing my shrimp go nuts over the food (from Shrimps Affair) - they dont do this with algae wafer or pellets!

Shrimps purchased here or supplied by here may have Ellobiopsidae (green fungus). Do check before purchase and quarantine after purchase. 4 of my shrimps have gotten them.
