fake Sin Heng Kee porridge, not under the same management of Hougang and Yishin Sin Heng Kee porridge stall. You dare to eat their porridge with cockroaches?

Date of incident : 23 Jan 2022 Sunday around 11am Branch of incident : Tampines Block 477 Street 43 I have been buying from tampines branch every weekend. My mom loves the porridge that's why I always buy for her and myself. On this day, I was shocked and disappointed at the same time. Luckily I had to stir the porridge because I added a few extra ingredients of my own (chilli padi, fish skin, egg whites etc). If not it could have easily ended up in my mouth without noticing at all. I immediately went out of my room to check with my mom's if she encountered the same horror too. Fortunately there wasn't but I told her not to eat it because most likely it came out from the same main pot. I just wanted to forget about it and stop buying from them anymore but my mom told me to go back there and tell them off. Mainly because they might continue their carelessness and affect others as well. I felt that she had a point so I went back to show them. I am still a fan of this porridge in fact I think it's one of the best in sg easily. But definitely not buying anymore from the tampines branch again. Still supporting the hougang branch and hope this message will be a meaningful one to all. Thanks

Super Value for money. Ingredients at every spoonful and delicious at that. This branch is not as crowded as the Hougang main outlet. Portion is also large.

Has the look, the smell but tasted BAD !! Tasteless & after adding salt still not up to the standard at Hougang Branch. My 1st & LAST

Saw negative reviews about cockroaches in this stall but both the reviews uses the same picture , so thinking probably they want to sabotage the stall. Or maybe it’s true but I personally didn’t encounter cockroaches incidents before ,and hopefully never will. This stall serves good porridges , and it’s near my house but I didn’t know and only chanced upon it because I got a flu one day and need to take porridges . Should try yourself one time and give it your own review .
