The opening hours are either very inconsistent or Google maps got them wrong. Either way, very frustrating.

Chanced upon this shop 中国大包,so I decided to try their pancakes. 猪肉大饼 Pork Pancake - Filled with minced pork, chives and garlic. Nothing special, taste normal, a bit sourish, flour was too thick. I have eaten better Chinese pancakes elsewhere. 葱油饼 Green Onion Pancake - Advice to avoid this, it is purely flour, just a few small slices of green Onion. I can't even taste or smell green Onions. It's totally different from what I had in China. You can get better 葱油饼 from Chinatown. It's a disappointment.

Tried once, unlikely to be back again. Firstly the food was not very hygienic with all the flies buzzing about and quite a number landed on the food that was not properly covered. Ended up still buying jiang rou da bao and hei tang man tou that were in the lower tier of the steamer and also some hong dou shao bing. Haven't tried the jiang rou da bao but the other 2 items were already a huge disappointment. The baos (both types) were not even warm when I got them despite them coming straight out of the steamer, so I'm not even sure what the steamer is there for. Didn't really matter since I was bringing them home. The hei tang man tou didn't even have any black sugar taste, just tastes like normal plain man tou. The hong dou shao bing was worse, it had such a powdery texture that it was like uncooked flour. The filling was also quite stingy. Don't even bother ordering on Food Panda, the prices listed are at least twice what you pay if you bought them at the shop.

I thought the beef bun was a steal at only $1 and as big as my palm(about 3 inch in diameter). BUT the filling very little guess maybe thats why so cheap haha. However, if you like steamed buns and cakes in general, can go for the mantou/花卷/brown sugar steam cake all at 1.20 each. Just dont go for the meat buns haha.

Big baos but filling to bread ratio is off :/ for the price, you get what you paid for I guess. The 凉皮is average but portion is big! :)

Happened to walk by on a Sunday morning and decided to get some food as it looked authentic. This was one of the very few shops open on a Sunday morning in the area. Operated by Mainland Chinese nationals and quite a number of PRCs purchasing breakfast there. Beef bun ($1) while cheap, had very little filling not very well marinated. The bun itself was also bland. Not sure if it’s meant to be the case in China. The 豆沙餅 (red bean pastry) for $1.50 was very good. Not too sweet, mildly flaky, fresh pastry, crunchy exterior and lightly sweetened dough. It was also quite huge. I enjoyed this very much which rendered a 4-star rating despite the lacklustre beef bun. This is a buy and go shop. No place to sit down and eat. You may take the food to the nearby coffeeshops in the area.
