β β β β β worth the visit if you are interested in the city of singapore, it has a lot of cultural and historical information about the development of singapore, information about the functioning of the city as a water system, electricity, sewage. Some interactive exhibits as well. For me, the most interesting was a model of the city that shows not only the buildings that already exist but also those that are under construction (in yellow in the photos) and those that will be built in years to come (in white)

β β β β β Excellent display of Singapore's urban planning and how it all came about. Would have been a 5-star experience except for the "surveillance" - there is always a staff following the guided tour group, reminding everone to keep distance and don't touch the display (even though nobody touched it). Felt like being watched all the time, creepy feeling

β β β β β I have fond memories of visiting years ago during a school trip. A more recent visit impressed me with how interactive and engaging the updated exhibits are with many featuring touch/hover panels presenting interesting snippets of information. Well-made videos about the different aspects of urban planning scattered throughout the 2 floors of permanent exhibitions made the time go by in a blink of an eye. Of course, the crowning glory here have to be the scale models of the whole island and the central district which are breathtaking in their detail.

β β β β β Great place to if you like history, especially if itβs city development..There are many interactive and cool kiosks that display videos and even allow you to modify roads, amend water usage etcβ¦whatβs really amazing is the future planning you get to see ..excellent for kids to learn in a fun way.

β β β β β Very good gallery to visit if you like urban planning, city planning, or are simply curious about all the different aspects of Singapore as a city-state. Youβll understand what it means to run a nation like a well-oiled machine.
The scale models are also very good. Plus there are many interactive activities to learn about city planning.
The gallery is under the URA (urban redevelopment authority of Singapore). Strongly recommend to book the free-guided tour run by volunteers.
