The only way to travel around Singapore in my opinion. It is very clean and easy to navigate. Cheap compared to other cities.

Lousy environment with no seating and surprises by stpppages, transfer trains. Permanemt maintenace calls with no warning. Buses better deal because stop yoy at short distance from actual destination. Google Maps gives actual times and buses very punctual and destimatioms achieved on timing predicted on directions in google maps. Seating available almost 90% of the time except peak and school release hours. Better travel option to avoid noisy China and India origin rude persons who talk loudly for their must-be-deaf callers. Totally annoying persins travel by MRT. They mistake that they are in their limousines taxis that they never afforded?

Modern, advanced, clean, and efficient. Definitely the most advanced I've seen in southeast Asia, reminds me of the tubes or trams in Europe. Easy to purchase tickets with attendants or automated kiosk. We took the train from our hotel Reddoorz Aljounied to Marina Sands Park, it took about 20 minutes including the walk to the stations. Maps and route info all over the station along with ticket prices. There was a little hiccup with maintenance at the stadium station which caused a 3 minor delay but nothing to fret over. Remember when you purchase a ticket to keep it, it will be needed to exit the station(s). Happy exploring!

Easiest way to travel around the Singapore in my experience and the cheapest method MRT system is sharp on time to all stations.when you by MRT card it can use all buses also. Then you can use bus service together with train service.More cheaper than any taxi service. When you travel by the MRT, all stations are indicated and announced and if you use google maps you can easily find the which route need to use to reach your destinations

Easiest way to travel, Singapore Mass Rapid Transit (SMRT) was very helpful for us to travel all around the Singapore, its clean fast and cheap. we got our EZ link card which was useful to travel in SMRT as well in Bus.
