★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my favorite Hokkein mee place. Way better than Toa Payoh Lor 1. It's in Northtech building food court. Because it's so far out, nobody has heard of it.
The thick stock with strong umami prawn/ pork flavor saturates the entire plate of noodles. No stock comes close. Most other hokkein mee stocks are just watered down nonsense. The sambal is great.
They are also generous with the pork and prawns. It's not your typical hokkein mee flavor for purists but once you try this, you won't bother with the rest.
I often take this away for my friends to try and everyone have been impressed so far.
