Terrible communication and audition experience with the intern / freelancer. Never even say 'action' and didn't even give talents a chance to take another preferred take! Come on, we know casting 'directors' CANNOT be bothered who gets selected or not, as long as they've done their jobs and impressed their directors and producers but talents take the time off to attend audition at your office and he/she deserves a chance to go for another proper and satisfied take! When talents go for audition, don't expect them to always be naive and to audition blindly without knowing who they are auditioning for (clients) or what the rates are or whether it's worth the talent's time to travel to the office for audition, etc. When asked who the clients were, the casting director evaded that question. So scared to reveal the clients because they're a govt agency? When asked numerous times, she just smiled here and there and kept saying 'office shoot' non-stop. Later on we found out who the client was! why so scared to reveal who the govt agency is? PDPA works both ways, Smallshop. Don't be small-minded. Go tell your 'secret' client that! Interestingly, the irony here is the commercial was about 'fair working practices and not about race but about abilities and how the HR only looked at abilities.' Hahaha, what a joke! BUT this production house can't even be transparent about it! The client can't even walk the talk! Asked about 'race' and further divided that race into 'north or south'? Hilarious. What if talents were from 'east or west or mixed'? They don't count? They're forgotten? They're disqualified? The audition efforts can be thrown into the bin because they're not from north or south? This is Singapore and not some other countries. Do they ask which province the Chinese come from, and what's their native language? How about 'others' - what mixed parentage? How about the others, if they were Javanese or boyanese or bugis or arabic, etc? Pathetic millennials who lack EQ. If they used the 'client wanted to know' lame excuse, then that client is the biggest hypocrite in this project. we know who the client is anyway. Go learn about Singapore's history on all the four races and don't ask STUPID questions! Not sure what that question's relevance was, unless the project required talents to speak in their native mother tongues! Not that we knew of. Few talents ignored that question. There were others who answered the questions probably because they were either nice and accommodating, or they could be the desperate ones who'd do anything for fame and money! Not surprised too. When asked for further details on the project, the person "disappeared"! Weird millennials in the company. So scared of communication. Talked about another project's anniversary video where they asked talents to do 6 different audition scenes and when selected, the remuneration was $100! Later on, that client changed the talent's profile! Already a lowball and pathetic client and still want to rechange talent's profile. What if those 6 audition scenes were done? Again, thrown into the bin and the staff will not inform the talent he/she has not been selected. Not sure which pathetic and lowball client this was, and when asked, the casting 'director' disappeared again. They seem to hire staff who like to disappear periodically. These were my unpleasant experiences. However, some of my friends too did not have a good impression of the people working in this company.
