Snip Avenue

I’ve been to the branch at Boon Keng multiple times and always finds that they have good services but today I had my 1st time encounter with the older lady (named Joanne, if I’m not wrong) to have my hair cut. Her service was horrible and her attitude was real bad. I appreciate her recommendation but I stil want my hair to be shorter. Though she continue to cut shorter but her body language and attitude show it all that she’s juz not happy abt it and worst part is that she did not do a proper job! And after cutting my hair, she didn’t even bother to show me how was the cut. When I sled her to show me the back view, she juz tell me to go to the counter and view from the there?! And I told her no way coz if it’s not a proper job, I’ll stil want her to trim. The next moment, she juz said that she will get another colleague to take over! SERIOUSLY!!!! Snip Avenue!!!! U allow your staff to handle customers this way?! All my visits there I’ve been listening to the staff mentioning that there Will be meeting with the management/boss. So if the management really takes customers feedback into consideration, my advise is that Snip Avenue should send staff for hairdressing refresher course and customer service course!!!

Just seated down haven't start hair cut start asking to buy their product or go for more services. Continue to prompt you to buy product during hair cut.

Very horrible customer service except for the cashier lady. There is one aunty who told me to wash hair before cutting hair. She kept promoting the products - made me wonder if she gets a commission out of it. I told her to cut V-shape and layer, but I came out with U-shape haircut. The aunty was very rough with my hair and she was literally pulling it. Bless my hair. Totally not worth $19.80 (Cut + Wash). Hope Jesus is watching this atrocity. May a soul benefit from this honest review. Amen.

I am giving this place 3 star just because their service is quite okay and friendly. This will be quite long review. Those who wants to get a haircut, sure go ahead.. But if you want to do hair dye or highlight, you may want to reconsider your choice. I asked for the stylist to do the Ash lavender /pink style as per the picture I attached from Google.. She told me that is red not pink, so I asked her to do something similar to that picture. She told me they will get it dark color then after few wash it will become lighter. So okay, I agreed and told her I trusted her. Bad decision!!! After waited for 5 hours to get my hair done, I got shocked of my life that I got NEON PINK! You can see the picture as well.. I wanted to cry cause this is not what I expected and I have my prewedding shoot in 2 weeks time!!! I don't even dare to ask them to redo the color cause I don't even know what it will become next. I told them this is too bright and keen comparing to the picture, yet they say this is nicer (the neon pink. Of course cause they did this? Damn) Will I go back to this place? Yes and No. Yes for the haircut as they cut my hair quite decent style. HECK NO for coloring my hair. I spent total 5 hours, with one bubble tea and $210 for this.

Business had evolve into lady’s customers more. I guess ladies desire more to be done on their precious hair. So demand for more services. Where else, male customers have to wait for long to cut and go.

Worst haircut i’ve ever had. Dont expect for barber there to follow your hair cut picture reference. They will just cut your hair based on what they like to see. Price is not a problem to top up if needed to, but saying out loud on the possible problem of your hair, is straight up humiliating. Never visiting here again.

Horrible waiting time of more than 2 hours. Still waiting at the point of writing. No more buying haircut package from them. You still queue like everybody else. They only interested in high value hair work. When the boss is not around, they don’t even bother to cut.

To be running a hair salon business would means to hire professional skilled hair stylists to man the outlets. Imagine stepping into a hair salon and ended up getting your hair cut into a state of madness, how would one feel? If anyone is looking for a decent hair cut, please avoid this place at all cost. To be honest, one will return because of the skilled and professional services that had been rendered previously. However all it takes is just one unprofessional person to kill the initial acclamation earned. Photo speaks louder than words. We are not balding customers stepping in to ask for a bob style. If you are not skilled enough to meet the expectations of the customers, do not blame the customer for the nature of their hair. Auntie in Boon Keng branch proclaimed loudly the problem lies in the nature of rebonded hair without a word of apology and yet reciprocated with a lousy attitude. If you think that the price that we are paying is too low to be asking for a decent hair cut, you could have informed us to top up and we are more glad to do that. This photo will show what is the difference in professional and unprofessional can resulted in. First 3 photo showed the work from Snip Avenue Bendemeer. Last 3 photos showed the rectified work of another stylist from another salon. Shame on u! FYI, package was paid and this is how the after sales is like. Good riddance!
