Sonny's Pizza - 17 Circular Rd

Had to visit Sonny's after doing some pizza research. TLDR: Service was good, Pizzas were hot, pizzas tasted good. Non-alcoholic craft beer, great for pregnant wife. Met Sonny, seemed like a nice guy. Ranch sauce with pizza lol, so American but I like it. Might check out this spot again. Ordered the pepperoni and burrata to start. Pepperoni was good, loved the 'tiny' pepperoni they used here, really flavorful but slightly on the salty side. The special Burrata slice was creamy and decadent but most of the burrata flavor got covered up by the pizza itself? Interesting but I'll probably not order again. I also tried the Green slice, taste good but rather normal, I ordered it because you know, always good to eat your veggies. Then I had the Saigon slice as well, this is is really out there but I like it, what really gets you here is fish sauce (not overpowering or salty) and the betel leaf pesto. I couldn't leave empty handed so I had a Good Morn and Hawaiian (don't judge) to go. The Good Morn is a great white sauce slice but not something I'd order again, perhaps I should have got some of the spicy honey sauce they serve at the store to go. The Hawaiian was ok too though like the GM slice, I'd probably not order again. They also have a nice selection of beers and if you wish, non alcoholic beers too. My pregnant wife was able to have a nonalcoholic beer with her pizza and she was very happy lol. One last thing about Sonny's is that they serve Ranch and a spicy honey sauce both of which are really good but the honey one is def sweet, like 5050 if you'll like it sweet but hey give it a shot. I'll prolly check out Sonny's again. Thanks for good pizza!

It’s a little warm indoors but the pizza was LOVELY. I enjoyed the complimentary ranch and Chili honey, and the great choices for drinks. The owners are really fun too. Defo coming back soon

Yes!! Love this place! Pizza is great, staff is super friendly, and the beer selection is awesome! Bonus points for the homemade ranch sauce!! We will be back frequently:)

Loved the ambience of this affordable pizza joint! While taste was pretty good especially with the ranch and hot honey sauces, crust was too hard for me. Pepperoni was also quite salty.

My kind of place - fuss free, good food and huge selection of craft beers and bottled cocktails. Price is a little on the higher side especially for one piece ($7) but it was a proper piece of good pizza. I had their cheese and green pizza. Green pizza was absolutely amazing but I found the cheese pizza slightly too salty for my liking. Affordable prices for their craft beers and the owner very kindly offered me a testing portion of this wicked stout with 15% alcohol content. Good stuff. Will be better if if they’re not located among the shady Boat Quay joints but will brave that dodgy stretch for them!

Delicious NY style pizza. Looks good, tastes good. Planned to have a slice only when visited, ended up having two each. A must try if you are a pizza lover. My favorite was the cheese pizza.

Enjoyed every single pizza I had here (and I had 3 all by myself ? #greed). And since I’m a sauce person, I especially loved that they had special sauces instead of just the usual Tabasco, and I could put however much I wanted. We came by here a few nights ago for a late meal. It’s probably the closest you can find in Singapore to real NY style pizza and it’s available by the slice. The place is not large but they have indoor and outdoor seating and the turnover is reasonably quick. We tried the pepperoni, the sausage & peppers, and one of the specials (it was basically a Hawaiian). All were good if perhaps a tad chewy. I’d like to try a slice or two when they’re fresh out of the oven and not reheated. They also have a very large selection of craft beers and other drinks. Service was friendly and unpretentious. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely go back and try more. I’ll update this when we do. On the second visit, we tried cheese, more pepperoni, and a spinach and mushroom. All were good. Now we’re going back maybe once a week for a few slices. It really is very good. Recommended.
