1. Found Soon Teck WoodWorks / carpentrydirect sg via google search. Beautifully designed site. 2. Sent an email with measurements and expected design requesting a quote for bathroom mirror cabinet. 3. Expected a reply with quote but instead got a reply from Poh asking for my telephone number. 4. Replied with my telephone number. 5. Again expected a reply with quote but instead got a reply from Poh asking am I ready to wait for 8 weeks. 6. Replied indicating that is dependent on the price that they gonna quote. 7. One week already. Total silence from carpentrydirect 8. Total 10 days past and still no quote even though every required info is provided in the first email itself with a photo. If presales is like this imagine how things will be once you engage them.

My custom study table arrived more incredible than what I imagined it to be. Besides delivering exactly what I wanted, Kirby, Lwi and his team covered things that didn’t cross my mind. Not only that I have a cable holder under the desk, I even have a foot rest! From measurement to completion, delivery and fixing small issues, it took 3 weeks and it would have been lesser but they accommodate to my timing. Couldn’t be happier and will definitely look for them again for another custom or my renovation. Have already recommended a colleague to check them out for her BTO.

Good service from provider. It was a small job but the carpenter came to do detailed measuring a few times due to my requests for changes. And he also gave good suggestions on how to build the vanity cabinet. The workmanship is also good.

My wife and myself decided that we needed a platform in our master bedroom to give our home more storage space. We decided to goggle for carpenter since we kind of already know what we want. Send email to 2 carpentry companies. 1 told us they are busy while Soon Teck Woodwork got back asking for more details before they can provide initial quote (I think this was important as they don't underquote and later give a higher difference after measurement). Fair for everyone. Once we are happy with the initial quote, they send Eddie to get in touch for actual measurements and discussion on final design. The discussion was candid yet eventful. Within the same week, Eddie got back with the final measurement and final quote. Upon our agreement, we were scheduled for actual installation. The team (lucky for us as the SMM rules was then 5 people) came at about 10am and work really hard to fix up the platform. They finished everything by 9pm (including minor touch up and clean up), knocking noise before 6.30pm ( so we don't get scolding by neighbours) and we had a wonderful platform and extra storage space! I even told my wife it felt like the whole process from initial quote, to measurement and design to final construction was really fast, especially this period where I learnt there were many restrictions during this COVID period and shortage of carpenter. Anyway, when they were went about installing, I also took a closer look at the materials and I am happy with the wood thickness. The workmanship was great and the guys were very willing to do the touch up to our expectations. Thank you for all the work (1st touch point, meet up and measurement, actual installation, service, quality). Will I recommend Soon Teck WoodWorks? Definitely!

We custom made pull-out shelves for our bottom kitchen cabinets. We were quite particular in our request and they went the extra mile to accommodate our needs. Kirby, Eddie and his colleagues were all professional and clearly knew what they were doing. They taped over the wooden parts to closely match the color of our kitchen cabinet doors, which was a nice touch that I didn't expect. I really appreciate their patience and excellent service. I would use their service again and recommend to others.

Unfortunately, due to the constrains of the pandemic, they were unable to take on my project until February. However, I'm glad I waited.
