β β β β β If you had been referred to this school by sgdrivinginstructors.com,
What I wished I knew before:
1. If you do want to choose an instructor to teach you, $60 is the price, not the original $54, as with $54 youβll be allocated any of the 4 instructors - although with auto itβs mostly between 2 instructors but going to the circuit would be another or Mr Tan that teaches mostly manual
2. Booking uncle ie Michael / Mr Tan has no patience to deal with whatever questions you have, and is very grumpy with a short temper
3. All instructors are Chinese and even if they offered an English speaking instructor, his English is very basic, which might not be optimal when you want to learn a skill
4. Booking for a test takes 8 weeks waiting time - and a total of 106.10 fee when Mr Tan books for you plus another 393.33 for car rental
With that said, I passed on my second test, so I still have them to thank for my license. Instructors do get the point across when teaching, and is pretty observant on the road. I did not have a horrible experience with them but it was only endurable.

β β β β β I was referred to this school by sgdrivinginstructors.com.
My instructor (manual) was initially Mr Ang. He's patient and detailed. However, Mr Tan (founder) took over when I had to enter Circuit as the car's registered under Mr Tan so only he can bring students inside Circuit.
Mr Tan took over more lessons from here on. Sometimes, he forgot that I've booked slots so I had to go home upon reaching. For one of the lessons, he only let me to practise clutch control forward and backward for 1.5 hours while replying messages and calls. Huge waste of time and money. He bragged that his teaching's superb and worth more than $200, while he criticised that my driving's as though I was at my 3rd lesson. However, he still left the car and let me do parallel parking by myself while he talked on the phone somewhere else. Whenever I asked him questions (especially in the Circuit) , he told me to keep quiet.
Mr Tan is also very violent. He slapped my hand for me to change gear, and very frantic on the road. He even held a metal rod (in a gangster manner) and shouted "If you don't press the accelerator, I will press for you!!"... He also shouted "Where are your eyes? Your eyes grow at where?"... Instructors under Mr Tan are all very afraid of him and told me not to badmouth Mr Tan in the car due to the in-car camera which Mr Tan might check.
Mr Tan told me to pay extra $10 to choose test date timing, in which I did. When I wanted to choose my test date timing, he scolded me for being a troublesome student and said that he could simply refund my $10 to save all the efforts.
After failing my TP, I switched to a private instructor outside and my learning journey instantly became much more enjoyable.
No one should suffer the mental stress that I endured. Only stayed on initially because of Mr Ang...

β β β β β Terrible experience with them. Only good instructor is Mr Pang. The rest are horrible. Especially one called Anthony. Sleeps during my lessons, oogles at ladies walking past and drools, and teaches me parking by controlling the steering wheel for me?! Mr Tan (the boss) is also haphazard, short-tempered and a failure as an instructor. He charges $100+ and $390+, a total of close to $500 for each driving test. Overpriced and poor professional conduct. Would suggest to find other instructors who also charge less for driving test car rental fee.

β β β β β Mr tan the worst instructor in the world. A real daylight robber charge such a high fee for circuit training yet no patience always think he's that great. Paid him to teach me to drive instead had to do his admin work. Luckily my patience is that good if not would have slap him out of the car. Beware of this scammer mr tan.

β β β β β Beware of this driving school, hidden under sgdrivinginstructors.com super sketchy you wont know you're enrolled into this until ur first lesson. this doesn't even deserve 1 star should be 0. By the time you search this school up you probably already enrolled and fell for their trap. Save yourself early and find another instructor. Mr tan is the worst driving instructor u can get and your worst nightmare. Doesn't have patience, violent , rude , does not let you ask any question and car very smelly dirty. Super arrogant Mr Ang will flaunt his driving skill and mumbling gibbish mandarin, cannot teach at all. Mr Tan is very violent and will smack your hand when you don't do properly as he demand and scold you nag and shout at you. Like to slack off as well , waste your time and money. You can only book according to their ridiculous schedule and have to pay $6 extra to secure your garbage instructor. Mr tan the owner is crazy and scold you out of no where and find fault in your driving even when you are doing fine. Really problematic and you are basically paying them to insult you. Does not teach you proper driving techniques and important key to note during tp test. Dont waste your money you won't learn anything proper to get license. Only waste time stupid worst driving school. Do not engage.

β β β β β Thank you Instructor Mr Tan for his kind guidance throughout this period of time. I passed my driving test on 1st attempt. Very grateful for his patience in teaching. At times he may be naggy but this is for the greater good. That is another guy in front of me who passed his TP on the 1st attempt too. Really appreciate Mr Tan. βΊοΈβΊοΈ
