★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place may have good audio visual facilities, but if you are thinking of renting this place, I would strongly suggest that you look away from this place. The rules are inflexible and may get in the way of your performances.
For example, if you are the organiser (the one paying for the venue rental), the staff DO NOT allow your own photographer to move up and down the floors or enter the performances midway.
I must emphasize again - the venue staff do not care whether you are the organiser and whether you are the one that controls the flow of the performance.
The staff simply abide by their own rules that strictly NO ONE to enter the hall unless during intermissions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The acoustics is very good. When you sing, you can hear your voice clearly. A great place to perform. However access to changing room requires one to climb some 31 steep steps down the basement to and fro. Suppose the older you get, the more challenging is it to take to the steps and especially so for ladies with long gowns and guys with knee problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely big hall. Can be used for performances, shows and events. I have been here for each type and the lighting and ambiance inside is nice.
A bit awkward with the steps up to SOTA where this is located inside but located in an accessible part of Singapore it makes for a good Central venue to host and attend events. I enjoyed a nice orchestra tonight so I appreciated the venue and it's location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Watched a Christmas Chorale concert and the theatre was very nice . Clean and temperature perfect. Easy to find the venue and convenient from MRT station . Big plus on this ! Don't need to take expensive taxi to get to . And lots of places to eat nearby after watching. Super good!
