She’ll explain why my hitting on the Cajón produce certain effects/sounds and teach me good methods to practice at home for improvement.

On top of being masters of their craft, they were also highly competent teachers with a youthful connection and a knack for capitalising on teachable moments. I love how they adopt with values-centric learning and keeping it fun for all. I also appreciate their timely communication and being attentive to our needs on the ground. Not even sugarcoating it, but truly the best i've ever worked with.

Her instructions for lesson is very well prepared and she is very encouraging of students (helps with the self esteem a lot when playing and performing).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tessa's passion, knowledge and skills in percussion definitely deserve a 5-star. I have been with Tessa for about 3 years now learning drums 1-on-1.
She is professional in her teaching and never fails to correct her students for the wrong techniques. She would provide suggestions on how to improve the hands and legs coordination.
The lesson plans (LP) are all self-prepared by her which covers a wide scope of playing techniques/ rhythms. She is also v patient and follows the student's pace, which helps a lot in building his/her confidence in playing. This is also be suitable for slow learners as compared to music schools like Believer Music whereby they follows a fixed scheduled LP. Moreover, her lesson fees are very reasonable and affordable! I would highly recommend her to my friends who are keen in learning drums or cajon! :)
