โ โ โ โ โ One of few Sri Lankan temples in Singapore where lot of Buddhist get together in almost all over the year not only in special Poya days but also in weekends for different kind of spiritual events like arms giving, dansals, meditation programmes etc. Also we could experience monks visiting this temple from all over the place and organize different spiritual activities. Its one of gathering place for meet Sri Lankans who work in Singapore. Now its having newly build stupa as well. Its really interesting to visit this spiritual place in order to calm our minds and body in rush working life in Singapore.

โ โ โ โ โ There's apparently a bodhi tree in the compounds of this Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple which has been planted since 1933. The sapling, as I was told, was from Sri Lanka. It boasts the largest reclining Buddha statue in Singapore and it is indeed quite impressive to actually see it in a quiet residential estate.

So many buddhists from all over the country come for prayers at this temple... Closet train station would be the boon keng mrt line....
