★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Standard Chartered should focus on hiring adequate number of staff to manage the clients on hand, instead of spending a lot on advertisement..
Staff seems to be too overloaded, a multi-million dollar portfolio gets scant attention and service.
Higher interest amounts are deducted regularly from account by mistake and takes years to credit back.. Even after that, they continue to deduct higher amounts depleting the account. It requires to keep a close watch and point them excess deductions all the time.. it is stressful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad service. My first time experiencing such poor quality in any bank. And interestingly, my experience was at the priority counter by chance. (i) Witness them being rude to an elderly for mask slipping off the nose while the staff herself had worn an ill-fitting mask. (ii) Poor communication when explaining new products. (iii) Impatient and rude with their replies (yes, multiple staff) even though customer was polite. (iv) Left the bank realizing the staff did not deliver what he had promised (a cheque book, and interest rate sheet for new account).
