I had an unpleasant shopping experiences. We have specially made a trip down for our furnitures shopping. We need to shop a few places per day to shortlist the items and discuss the dimensions with our ID. However, Star Living is the only store which stopped us from taking picture of the dimensions. This is such a ridiculous approach. We have went Commune, Etch and Bolt, Grey sanders, W atelier etc. in fact , most encouraged us to take pictures as well as the dimensions to make our furniture shopping more efficient and convenient. So it really help facilitate when we shortlist and discuss. If you are looking to do homework for your furniture shopping, I will not recommend. It’s impossible to remember everything on mind. And it’s just unreasonable and unpleasant. It’s not a museum. It’s a furniture store. To note: There is no other customers when we took pictures of shortlisted items. In fact I think we were the only ones there. So there is no issue of PDPA. Other furniture stores with even better designs encourage us to take picture for easy shortlisting and discussion with ID. If your staffs have noticed, we were looking for tv consoles and dining chairs. I was reprimanded twice and when I explained I was just taking picture of the dimension description and the actual piece for discussion with ID, I was still being stopped. It was a very lousy experience. Which furniture stores stopped customers from taking pictures for shortlisting their items. And I do not take pictures of human beings, not to mention there wasn’t anyone else. PDPA is such a lousy excuse. In any case, if you can remember the items you shortlist and the all the dimensions, then you may consider star living. Otherwise, there are other stores with better services and more reasonable protocols.

So glad we found out about this place before settling for generic and common options. Great outlet for designer interiors. Sofas. Dining tables. TV entertainment units. Accessories. A must visit before buying basic anywhere else. We will be back!

I went to STAR LIVING, Labrador, on 14 Mar 2022, 4.15pm. I parked at your carpark and wanted to walk over to the MRT station to pick up my friend, who wanted to buy new furniture for his new house. Your security guard is extremely rude and wanted me to leave despite me telling him that I need to walk over to the MRT station to fetch my friend and bring him over to STAR LIVING. He was so rude that I just drove off, and told my friend NOT to patronize your shop. We went to another designer furniture shop in the vicinity and bought quite a bit of items. We will NEVER return to your shop unless you get the RIGHT STAFF. Do look into this matter seriously, if you DONT want to LOSE BUSINESS & CUSTOMERS. REPLY: Hi Baarath, Thank you for your review and we would like to apologize for your poor experience with the security guard on duty at our Labrador showroom on Monday, 14 Mar 2022. Based on our findings, we understand that you have entered our showroom to browse around after you have parked your vehicle at our premises but exit shortly via the side gate instead of the main entrance where your vehicle is located and only mentioned to our security guard that you need to fetch your friend from the MRT when he approached you. *I browsed around your shop while waiting for my friend who was reaching soon. I entered via one of your gates - I DO NOT know which is your main or side gate. Once my friend had reached Labrador MRT, I exit your shop to walk over to the MRT to fetch him. That was when your guard approached me and I had to explain to him that I needed to go to the station to fetch him. He kept insisting that I leave and cannot park there despite me telling him that my friend and I have to come back to the your shop* Kindly note that our parking space is a private property and only reserved for our customers, hence it is our security guard's duty to ensure that our parking spaces are not abused by the general public which we often encountered and we seek your patience and understanding in this matter. Also, we have checked with the security guard that was on duty and he was not rude to you as claimed. If it is not the case, do let us know and we will be happy to look into it and relay your feedback to our outsourced security agency for them to investigate and report back to us on this matter. *The fact that I am wasting my time writing this review would explain that he was INDEED rude and I am utterly disappointed with your service. You might want to send your staff for training before I give you that chance to make things right.* Once again, we would like to apologize if this has upset you & your shopping experience and we sincerely hope to have another chance to make things right and the opportunity to make your next visit a better one. *Refer above* Thank you.

Went specially to their largest store across the island to view the entire collection under Star Living. There are 4 levels of furniture but I wouldn’t say the variety is any better than the smaller outlets like Northstar which I’ve been to before. Wanted to buy 2 study tables, of which 1 was currently on special offer. Ive never met a stranger salesperson in my life. He told me there was no stock until Sept for the one on offer. Now why would a company promote an item that was out of stock befuddles me. Then when I said I would just buy the other table and will cash & carry the item, he told me that he can’t guarantee the condition since it would not be QC & delivered by the warehouse. I left the place empty handed. However, I went on to their website and managed to purchase the same 2 items (including the one which was β€œout of stock”) & received the items 3 days later. One of the most bazaar shopping experience I’ve ever had ?

Very good shopping experience at Star Living @ Labrador. Nice selection and excellent customer service. Special mention to Smindy - she gave us top notch customer service. Answered all our queries confidently and was very helpful making it very easy for us to decide on all the furniture we were looking for our new house. She is such a great asset to the company ?

Nicely fit into a 3bedroom Condo. Very good service. Happen to have James servicing us. Not pushy type. Slow and easy and also letting us time to consider and also we added some item via WhatsApp and also paynow system to the company. And also. Because of my carpentry delay. We did ask him to change a date for us. And he did it within mins. No delay and manage to change. Overall. This mine 2nd home experience with Star living.

Bought an extendable dining table from them last year, the glue underneath the table came off right after the 1 year warranty. Half the table is unusable and it's very dangerous because it is dangling at an angle. Contacted customer service and was told they are able to waive the repair fees as it was only a few days past the warranty period. However, it took them 5 days to send someone down to inspect the table. Prior to the inspection I have already sent them pictures of the table and what was the issue, but when the technicians came down they claimed they did not receive any information. Technicians told me they have to bring the table back for repair (unable to fix on the spot), but because it is past the 1 year warranty, they need to seek approval to bring it back. Informed them that I was already told the repair fee will be waived and yet they refuse to bring the table back. Told me to wait for a call the next day to arrange for collection of the table another day. They also just taped the table with scotch tape and told me "it's good enough to be used now". Til now it has been a week and I have yet to receive any calls or updates on the collection of my table for repair. Tried calling them several times but they just kept telling me to wait for callback (which never happened). Not sure if they are sincere in repairing my table or just trying to push around. It can't be that it takes this long just to arrange for collection of a table?? For a $800 table to spoil just after 1 year of light usage (daily meals for 2 people, not even hosting or putting heavy things on the table), the quality seems to be a little bad. Plus the delay in repairing and customer service, if you want to purchase anything from here, just hope your furniture spoils within the warranty period, otherwise you will probably encounter the same experience as me. Let's see how long it actually takes for my table to be repaired (if they ever actually call me for the collection)..
