Worst travel insurance company* I have dealt with. At the point of time when I was stucked abroad and required information on what can be claimed, the hotline staff couldn’t advice me. The only advice I received was β€œit’s on your policy wording” file first and see how after….. Now It’s been 6 weeks since I first filed for my claim and yet there’s only 1 reply after me bugging them for a respond. Right now after sending emails after emails there haven’t been any reply or respond with regards to the status of the claim. Moral of the story : Please purchase your travel insurance with them with extreme caution. *Mine is travel insurance is group / cooperate. Updates - the claims came in after about 2.5 months of pestering.

No reply when travel insurance claim is made. Offering insurance and then ghosting the customer when requests are made is called scams. Please do not buy anything from them.

Numerous calls to the hotline end up at voice mail, no updates on travel insurance claim despite numerous email reminders and chasers sent. It has been 4 weeks since claim submission.

Please do not buy from them. It’s been two weeks since I filed a claim to my travel insurance, there has been zero follow ups. No replies to emails, no answers to calls. I have claimed w other travel insurers before and within a month, it would have been resolved. Buying insurance is like buying a peace of mind however dealing with Starr Insurance is an absolute nightmare. Will never buy from them again.

Be careful of the insurance company. I make a claim for delay baggage for the number of hours. Based on hours for the amount. But in fine prints I am expected to have receipts to make this claims? First time I heard this. Reporting to relevant authority to complaint scamming insurance company like this .

WORST. TRAVEL. INSURANCE. EVER. please dont buy from this company. I have to deal with the death of my kin, cancel my trip, and deal with non-responsive customer service. It's been 2.5 months since I last filed my trip for travel cancellation and there's not a single contact made from them. I have checked all spam and called multiple times. The only thing the customer service asked me to do is to wait!?!?!? That's truly ridiculous and till now, there isn't any resolution from them. Update: took them 3 months to come back to me with a claim update however, it seems like the claim value was not very clear but honestly, I count myself lucky to even receive a response from them.... not sure when will I get the refund though.

Aa others have shared, worst travel insurance company ever. No response since submitting a claim more than 3 weeks ago. Customer Service line is non-contactable and goes to voice mail and they do not call you back. Only consider purchasing their insurance if you do not need to make any claims.

Great customer experience! Compared a few travel insurances out there but this seems to have the best value/coverage. The product information is simple and easy to get through too. Managed to get my queries answered quickly through helpline, so that’s pretty helpful
