Stepping Stones Study Centre - 439 Fajar Rd

I am a primary 6 student who has studied under Mr wong and stepping stones. I started at year end primary five and back then my English was 73 (meaning AL 5). Through Mr wong's guidance, I slowly improved. Now, I have gotten AL 2 (85-89)for English and I am elated. Mr wong may seem fierce at first, but I know that he is not unreasonable. He scolds us because he wants us to learn from our mistakes. He uses fun methods to teach us and I never feel bored in his lessons. I am extremely glad I decided to go to stepping stones. ? Also, I attended Ms Mery's lessons. She was extremely kind and patient. There was one time I was confused with ratio and she taught me patiently. Even when I asked a lot of questions, she still continued to teach me and did not get irritated. In primary five, my year end result was 81. Now, I had received an AL 1 and I am delighted! I am very lucky to have these two teachers helping me with my subjects that I was once weak in but now strong in! Continue the good work!

Stepping Stones Study Centre is one of the best tuition centres I've ever been to. Not only is the environment splendid, the teachers and staff are also welcoming and kind. Mr Wong, my English teacher who has been teaching me since p3, has really improved my english by a mile over the years. He is compassionate and also committed in teaching every single student of his. Furthermore, lessons in Stepping Stones is just delightful. Whenever I am attending lessons, time seems to fly so fast. Stepping Stones is the place where fun and studies fuse into one. It not only allow me to learn, it also allowed me to find joy in learning. If experiencing joy while learning is what you are searching for in a tuition centre, Stepping Stones is definitely the way to go!

Gabriel was told after mid years that he is in the lowest 20% of the cohort for English. His confidence took a beating and he did not know how he could do better. Mr Augustine Wong, who taught Gabriel in primary school, agreed to help Gabriel even at this 11th hour. With his patience and intensive teaching, Gabriel managed to gain some confidence and eventually scored a B4 at the Os. Huge thanks to Mr Wong for restoring Gabriel's confidence and self belief!

Ryan’s experience with Stepping Stones Study Centre is truly rewarding. He scored Grade 1 for his N Level Maths. Special thanks to his Math teacher, Mrs Chan for her patience and nurturing. Her lessons are tailored according to students’ needs, which has enabled my child to work on his weaker areas and understand the concepts well. As a parent, I am confident that my child will be able to excel academically and beyond and I will continue to entrust my children education to SSSC.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratefulness to my English tutor, Mr Augustine Wong. As his name suggests, he really is an august teacher. Mr Wong uses multiple online resources to conduct his lessons rather than using traditional worksheets. He also goes the extra mile to make helpful notes for us as well as make his lessons much more interesting with small jokes which brought smiles to our faces. Thank you for everything you have done for us! I am extremely shocked and grateful to be able to achieve an A1 for English language for 2021 O-levels despite getting Bs for English throughout secondary school. The oral workshop definitely gave me a boost in confidence and I would like to express my appreciation to Mr Wong for his encouragements as well as his 'motivational talks'.

Mr Leong has been my A/E Maths teacher for 2 years at my time in Stepping Stones. He is very patient and inspirational. He always go the extra mile to help each and every one of his students. With his guidance and teaching, I've attained 'A1' for both A/E Maths. In addition, the Centre provides a comfortable learning environment, it is ambient and cooling, which helps students alike to focus in class and learn better. ~Brandon.

Very satisfied! Mr Wong is very experienced and knowledgeable. Good use of different teaching methods and good pace in ensuring the class understands before moving on to the next topic. Having online lessons also is a good way of moving forward in today's world. Limit the need to travel and be in person. I have been a student of Stepping Stones Study Center of 7 years and went for English classes with Mr Wong. When I first joined the center, I was not doing very well for my English subject in school. However, under Mr Wong's effective teaching methods, I managed to improve tremendously and was able to score an A in English for my PSLE and an A1 for my recent O level examinations. I thoroughly enjoy Mr Wong's classes as he uses interesting methods to help us grasp concepts and remember key points easily. He is a very humorous and friendly teacher whom I will never forget in time to come. Choosing to be a student of Mr Wong is definitely one of the best choices I have ever made.
