Did rebonding at Steve V Tiong Bahru. It is my first time but also my last. Have been doing rebonding for many years with many different salons but this is one of the worst result I have experienced. I chose the $198 rebonding - the more expensive one which includes hair spa as I know my hair condition is not the best to start with). After it is done, I am told that I need to do another treatment that costs $138 in order to get the effect of rebonding. Stylist did not complete the trimming for me - he said he will do it after I go back to do the treatment. Ends of my hair is dry and wavy after the1st wash at home. I am very disappointed with the result. Decided not to go back for the treatment as I have lost trust with the stylist and the salon. By the way, I spent a total of 6 hours in the salon (with appointment) - the waiting time is one of the longest I have experienced.

Highly recommend this salon! ???? I was unsure of which hair colouring service to go for and I decided to enquire through their IG. Zell who was attending to my queries, patiently addressed all my concerns and helped me decide on the most suitable option. Upon reaching the salon (with a last min appt made), I was swiftly seated and attended to. Jack was my stylist and he patiently went through my concerns and preferences and helped me choose the best color accordingly. There were no pushy sales tactics but just very honest and genuine recommendations, and they'll let you make the final decision on what you want to do. It has been a while since I have encountered such wonderful service. I like that they really took the effort to find out what you like and recommend the way to achieve the look you want. I like that even if the stylist needed to step away, he will gently inform you that he is doing so and not leave you hanging there. Many thumbs up to the whole team at Steve V. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend to all my friends!

Did rebonding+bond rebuilder collagen + hair spa treatment ($198) but i paid $158 due to telegram promo. Book appointment 2 weeks in advance for the rebonding but the shop only has two hair stylist on the actual day of appointment on a monday.. So I waited for quite a bit. Actually the waiting is okay as long as the rebonding quality is good... After 4h30mins of rebonding, the stylist didn’t bother to show me the back of my hair. I assume it’s okay maybe he’s just busy and forget to show. So after waiting to two days, and after the first wash & blow dry, my hair appears exactly the same before rebonding. Messaged the salon about it, they offered to redo for me in the subsequent week. So i went back tiong bahru outlet again to redo my rebonding and spend another 3-4hour.. Everything seems fine again, they were apologetic so i waited for another two days... The hair seems rather straight but still frizzy and slightly curly(?) but it’s obviously better than the first rebonding.. subsequent after a few more washes, i can feel that my hair is slowly returning back to the before rebonding stage.. I am so tired of this cycle and didn’t feedback to the salon.. Thinking about the money and time spend with the kind of result.. I would never want to come back again.. I think the salon is only good with hair colouring services... Please do not go for their rebonding services as it will just be a waste of your time and money..

First of all, beware of promotions as there are hidden charges. It was a trap. ​After all the top ups, it will be more expensive than other salons. Secondly, my hair was visibly damaged and porous that was beyond repair after bleaching. Was recommended to bleach 3 times but to my horror, the bleach was left on my hair for 2 hours straight without being washed off. The hairstylist said it was normal and their usual way of bleaching as bleach no longer has effect after some time. Apparently that was said to blatantly smoke the public because it is NEVER OK nor professional to leave bleach on hair for longer than 30 minutes each time, not to even mention 2 hours. Yes, perhaps no more effect on lightening but how about the irreversible damaging effect due to laziness to wash off, blow dry and reapply just like any other salons would do professionally? If this is indeed the usual way of bleaching being practiced in this salon, you know it definitely sounds dodgy and unprofessional with your hair destined to be damaged. Thirdly, the bleaching process hurt the scalp badly. And they said it's normal too. I've never done any bleaching in any salon that burns my scalp this badly. Lastly, they failed to deliver what they promised. I clearly said and showed pictures of the colour I wanted but it turned out vastly different. The stylist recommended a colour on the colour board and showed me a picture of the final outcome before I agreed but it turned out nothing like that. They kept telling me it was nice, but what's the point if it wasn't what the customer asked for? I sat there for close to 6 hours, painful process of 3 rounds of bleaching to get damaged hair with colour that was way off. It turned out the same shade which I had years ago that was done in another salon and achieved with only 2 rounds of bleaching and no damage. They recommended me to wash the colour off by scrubbing with clarifying shampoo everyday but it was only adding on to the damage. Then they offered a redo which was to bleach another round and colour again but I think my hair had been through enough damage here.

Steve V has a team of wonderful hair stylists. An annual habit of mine to colour my hair at the end of the year and they have always delivered. Special mention to Josephine who takes so much of care to deliver your vision.

1st time coming here after a good recommendation. Stylists are friendly and patience in their explanation after i told them what's my requirement. they even willing to share with u some tips on how to do a better blow-drying job. The manager even brought out the lighting to ensure i can capture the color of my hair. Thank you and highly recommended.

It was the worst experience ever I had for my hair colouring. I made the appointment 1 month in advanced because understood that CNY might full booked. The staff checked and replied that it is okay to have the booking (for me and my friends). As I have been doing balayage before and I consulted the staff about the time taken, so I assume it should be done in max 6-7hrs even it is peak season. However, we were sitting in the salon for 10hrs, just for hair colouring (I were getting balayage), which it was more than double of the time taken (as per their consultation). In the middle of the session, I asked the staff again how long will it takes (where I were sitting for 4hrs already), they said 2hrs ish, but at the end it was 6hrs from the time I asked. Those customers who had later appointments than us, doing about the same thing like us (balayage/highlight/full bleaching), but they (about 7 of them) ended earlier than us. We were the last customers batch and the only batch who stay 10hrs for only hair colouring. They just said sorry because have many customers, didn't even give incentive for us (even we asked). Very disappointing for the salon and not even want to go again anymore.

Whatsapp them to check if they have a slot the following day at Tiong Bahru branch. Lucky me, they got a slot. Head down next day. Location was easy to find. Was served by Brian. Firstly, he sat down and understand from me my preferences and thoughts on what hair services I wanted to do. Ended up with 2+ hours doing color + highlight. They were nice to do extra by curling and styling your hair at the end which I like it. Overall experience was great and the putcome of my hair was pretty. Price wise, I think it was reasonable.
