Use at your own risk!!! Our account is suddenly suspended after a year with them. More importantly, all the funds in our USD account are refunded to our buyers who had received their services! We lost a few thousands of dollars overnight! None of their support email support@, complaints@, heretohelp@ is at all helpful. They just stated "Regrettably, we cannot reverse a successfully refunded charge" and walked away!! Very irresponsible and unreliable platform!

Very upsetting. I run a telemedicine startup, and I chose Stripe thinking it was a respectable international company that would scale with my business. I was asked to provide legal documents to validate my business, and within 1 hour of sending them my business licenses, they suspended my account without warning! TWICE! As such, we had to scramble and apologize to many of our patients who have been turning our service due to COVID restriction. Giving them the benefit of doubt, I made the effort to explain my business nature. All i received was a generic response from a compliance officer who probably didn't even read my explanation. And they proceeded to quote that "Telemedicine is consider a High-risk business"?! But i can't find this in their terms and condition, and Stripe co-founder even announced on Twitter in 2020 that Stripe would support Telemedicine now. Not forgetting, their commissions are higher than all other competitors. You would expect to be given a more progressive and thoughtful customer service. Stripe was built to be a better solution than Paypal, to help small businesses and startup grow. But now, you are just a faceless organization.

Stripe declined many of my payments and when one cleared they froze my account due to their high risk rules (which they failed to define). They indicated they woud return funds to my client but have failed to do so. They will not send my payment to me or refund my client and will not respond to emails asking for resolution of the payment. Furthermore cant close account until this payment is cleared. I have no chice now but to take legal action to resolve the matter so i can close my account. Never use Stripe. They are obviously sitting on their clients cash for their own benefit with no intention of repaying people. For 2 months now

Funds being held for an unreasonable reason of a verification for a previously cancelled order as a reason not to release my funds for the current order. totally makes no sense.. Been emailing the support staff but they do not even seem to understand basic simple English after explaining to them the cancelled order has nothing to do with Stripe anymore because its being cancelled and they keep insisting on a photo with the address of the product of the cancelled order 2 months ago! Totally ridiculous!!! How can Stripe hold my funds for the current order with a reason needing to verify an order 2 months ago which was CANCELLED!! TOTALLY NO LINK AND ITS being going through and forth going nowhere WASTING MY TIME!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

#Updates for others who faced the same issue. How I resolve my issue? 1) Read similar experiences below 2) Spam them daily through email and Support 3) Post a google review 4) Write a negative review on their Facebook 5) Please pm Stripe in Facebook 6) Use community pressure 7) Refrain from using Stripe. (recommend PayPal, higher fee but scam-free) Similar to others experiences, Stripe has hold on customers payment of $10K after collecting our fees out without reason or business risk involved. This process took 2 months and no via. Support is terrible thereafter, problems aren't resolve and more problems arise. If you are SME, suggest you stay away from Stripe.

Very bad platform. They just froze you money and ask you to wait for 2-3 month while bank reply. If Bank is protecting their buyer consumer, where is our protection where we are a client with Stripe. This show that stripe is so one-sided with the bank ad they wont care about you or your business. Worst still is their support team, they are so RUDE over the phone.....

If I will to use a word to describe Stripe, That will be TERRIBLE. Stripe totally has no control over Bank, Zero protection towards their consumers at all. All they know is to collect transaction fee and when thing happen, they side the bank instead of protecting their client nor help their clients to solve the matter. The worst part is, after you give them a Goggle review, They will act to reply in public and ask you to e-mail them. After you e-mail them, no reply at all, They just know how to put up a show only. For small business owner, stay away from this platform.

Stripe has hold on customers payment of $6,000 after collecting our fees out without reason or business risk involved. Told me transfer in more money transfer, and disappear for two months. Read their customers reviews, realized most people are facing similar issues as I am. I hope MAS can look at this company.
