Swatow City

First time trying the dim sum in Swatow City. Not disappointed and most of the dishes were delicious. Loved the Durian Mochi, a must try for Durian lover. Steam Pork ribs can give a miss. Have discount for SAFRA and HomeTeam members.

Ate here a few times. First few times was dim sum. The time was Ala Carte. Every dish was good. We ate fish $38, sea Cucumber chicken $28, black pepper beef $16. Spacious place and very good service by Edmund and Pui Yee. 2nd update: Peking duck, pork rib bitter gourd, chicken soup in teapot 3rd update: lost count of the number of times i ate here. After the recent menu change, they added quite a few dishes interesting dishes like truffle oil pork chop. Love the paofen. 4th update: Added pic of sotong, beef and sweet n sour pork on ice. All is good.

Was pleasantly surprised to have found this restaurant hidden in the residential enclave of Bukit Batok/Gombak area. This place serves flavourful food - the dim sum was good and so were the other dishes. Particularly like how it plays around with the traditional food for eg char siu Cheong fun is actually Cheong fun with bak Chor (and taste equally good!)

Went there without expectations and the food were really not bad! Tried the normal Peking duck was quite decent, the meat on the duck frame was much more than the ones we had at other restaurant. Meat wasnt dry and seasoning is on spot. Prawn roll is a signature,do try it out taste good. It is packed with fillings and does not have 臭油味. Sweet and sour pork is decent, visually aesthetic, pork is of good quality,no strong pork smell. But expect it more crispy on the outside. Taste better than other average restaurant with same dish. Dimsum here is quite good too, tried 3 types: har gao, siew mai (very fresh prawn and meat fillings!!) and liu sha bao. Only wish liu sha pau can be more 'flowy'. Fried kway teow with pork lard- very aromatic dish, simple and authentic with generous portions of chye poh ( chinese raddish pickles), tinge of wok hey, though its slightly oily but seasoning is not overpowering. The chopped veg gave some crunchy texture and elevated the dish We always have high expectation on orh nee (yam paste) but this is by far the one of the best orh nee we had in singapore so far. It was traditional with lard oil, pumpkin and ginko. Yam paste was flavourful and silky smooth after mixing, must order this if you are a yam lover!! Tracia gave good recommendation and service too. Will definitely patronise again :)

Good selection of dim sum. The quality is good though the portion is on the small side. Service is prompt and efficient. The set up is like a wedding hall. Ample parking and redeemable. Home team card enjoys a 20% discount off the bill except set menus.

Superb service by the managers and servers! Food is always of good standard regardless if it’s dim sum or main dishes. Good recommendations given when we were considering what to order. A surprise birthday treat was given (free of course!) and look at the effort they put in to decorate and plate the desert so beautifully❣️ Very unique and happy experience dining here ◡̈

Hearty experience at Swatow! Food was really amazing; kelvin and his team really went above and beyond to ensure we have a great time in Swatow and accommodating to our many request. Can’t ask for anything more, will come back again!!!!! ?????

Ordered the 8 course meal! Was so full such that we took the noodle dish back home for supper. Food quality is really good for the price ($1200+ for 10). Would recommend for special occasions.
