★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Installed a home traction lift and before handover, the lift stalled and did not respond. Told the lift engineers that I am concerned that a similar episode will result in one of my young kids getting trapped. Swee Hin mechanics said they checked and 3 weeks after handing over, my daughter got trapped in the lift!
1. Ventilation and fans cut off
2. Safety mechanism of lift going to nearest floor during power outage failed
3. Lift service cabinet locked
All the safety mechanisms failed!
Now daughter is traumatised and scared of small spaces.
