★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lunch is fried seafood kway teow mee at a neighbourhood coffeeshop stall - Tai Heng at 803 King George’s Avenue (across the road from ICA building). Excellent dish; friendly chef.
If you are at Tai Heng, please try the chef’s fried carrot cake and oyster omelette, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried the orh luak coz I was not satisfied with something else I have tried which is supposed to be famous at the same coffeeshop.
Good thing i spotted this stall and had my orh luak fix . Tasty and had succulent oysters. My portion was $5 . The friendly lady fried it quite crispy with some spongy tapioca starchy bits and Eggy-goodness that did not disappoint. However frankly, it may not be one of the best like its competitor at the nearby jalan berseh food centre, but I would eat this again if I am around the area :)
