Taman Jurong Nasi Lemak - 3 Yung Sheng Rd

The rice served here is aromatic and the ingredients are fresh. Overall, a very decent plate of nasi lemak which I'll gladly give a 3/4 star rating. But be forewarned that the experience of placing your order reminds me of the recent "这个, 那个" music video - the uncle gets impatient if you take too long to make your choice, and will "lecture" you to do your planning beforehand. He's not that bad actually - but it can get pressuring or intimidating for some folks. My wifey doesn't like it, that's why I'm the one who always gets to place the order - I just use some humour to tell him off nicely n he backs off :-)

Uncle’s nasi lemak is one of the best. Luncheon meat is as thick as the side of my hand (unlike the usual thin slices). His chilli is also very unique ans home made! He adds in ikan billis to give it a nice bite.
