Tanjong Katong Primary School is a government primary school, located on Seraya Road in Tanjong Katong, under Marine Parade Planning Area in the East Region of Singapore. Tanjong Katong Primary School is a popular school with the expatriate community in Singapore. 40% of the school's enrolment are foreigners, with the school's 1,700 pupils coming from 39 countries in 2007. As a result, Tanjong Katong Primary School has the most diverse student population among all government-operated schools in Singapore. First Toa Payoh Secondary School comes in at second place with students from 19 countries.

This school is led by a group of unprofessional teachers. They have no passion & little love for the children. A group of children don't do well in exam, loiter, steal etc... they don't bother to call & work matters out with parents. The VP promises to take action and talk to teachers and for the teachers to contact parents. When they didn't, her reply was "I can't force them and it is not part of their jobs." Pls consider carefully choosing this school. It is disorganized and the quality of teachers are poor.

Good school. Accommodating and patient teachers helps pupils learn and overcome their own challenges. Has a fair share of international students, giving the pupils a good exposure and perspectives. Thumbs up!

A fun place to learn and the teachers are kind and caring. As an alumni of the school, personally the 6 years spent in the school were the best 6 years of my schooling life. It is an awesome school. I would like to thank all the teachers who have taught me such as Mr Koh, Mrs Tam, Mr Hoon, Miss Serene, Miss Lee and so on. Thanks for instilling good values into me and for teaching subjects sufh as Phys Ed to keep me fit(Miss Serene). I miss the school and will try to find time to go back there sometime this year.

I am proud to be a student here, where I always have interesting yet beneficial lessons to prepare me for the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) . If you study here ,you are bound to have lot of gregarious friends that will always encourage you to do your best. There are also lots of foreign students here to share their culture with you and increase your general knowledge which may help out someday. I am also pleased with the different sorts of facilities in the school that make lessons even more intriguing. There is also a wide range of CCA s for you to choose from and learn. In case you didn't know, the school also holds sports event in March every year for students to keep fit and enjoy Currently I am the National Education (NE) ambassador of Class Six Benevolence and will be having my psle this year .The teachers teaching my class are kind, persevering and always strives to ensure that we get the perfect holistic education. They are one of a kind that you definitely do not want to miss. For example one that screams into the microphone and one that gives inspirational speeches all day?. The school's rich history also makes it special like how Fowlie , Mountbatten and Haig Boys School merged to form this unique culture. My dad is an alumni from Mountbatten Primary. I love TKPS! :D I am still in TKPS though! :) I like all the teachers they are very polite and kind always helps me with my study’s! I am still bad at math and mt but I am improving! :D And I believe u will too!
