Their ε‰ηƒ§εŒ…, as everyone knows, is super good. But I'll also recommend their θŽ²θ“‰εŒ…, funchoy and siew mai. No queues, yippee! But they still out by late afternoon, so need to go early.

This place has a very long history and I guess they personified the tiny and high quality handmade pau for more than 20 years. Their primary business is takeaway! Had been like this for decades. One of the service staff, a female is arrogant and presumptuous. I guess labour is hard to come by and the boss must have tolerated her. Would have given a 4 star rating! By the way, it takes a little more effort to reach this place.

One of the aunties at the Tim Sum stall has a few screws loose in her head. No doubt she can count the price of the dishes very fast with her quick math, but she is obnoxiously rude. Just went to ask if the char siew rice was ready, she told me to queue up in an irritated tone. Why queue if it might not even be ready when my turn comes?!! Doesn't make sense at all. Please wake up your idea. You can get away with such attitude with the older generation maybe, but when the older folks pass and your business depends on younger people, no one will patronize your stall if you display such rotten attitude.

So small, but oh so good! The char siew bao is great. You'll probably need to buy in 10s, just to get the hang of the taste. The bao used to be much bigger, but have since shrunk in size. Ohwells! Once in a while, make sure you try!

Some of the best steamed buns in Singapore. They cook in batches, so sometimes a wait is necessary, but definitely worth it!

Big pork pau (ε€§θ‚‰εŒ…) - good. Char siew pau (ε‰ηƒ§εŒ…) - good. Lotus paste pau (θŽ²θ“‰εŒ…) - good. The paus were not big but they tasted good - both the fillings and the pau itself. Located just by the children’s playground at the block opposite the hawker centre.

SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE. The lady serving us was super rude and unfriendly, she was not even willing to give us an extra plastic bag for our pau. Their "big" pau (as shown in the picture) is SUPER TINY (the size of a normal pau in other shops) their "regular" sized paus are even tinier.... Portions are incredibly pathetic!!!!! Thankfully they don't taste too bad but all in all a terrible terrible experience ??

My favourite pau sellers. They’ve got 3 outlets. In terms of friendliness & quality/consistency of buns, 1. Jln Batu, 2. Guillemard, 3. Thomson. FYI I believe, Char Siew are usually available first (11-ish), Tau Sar at about 12-ish, and Bak pau at about 2-ish
