Poor customer service. I didn't even agree to sent my device to them for repair. I receive a pick up from their delivery man and wasn't inform about the extra charges. They insisted on charging me diagnostic fee. And I already told them I do not need it as my laptop is confirm to be a battery issue and just need a battery replacement Beware. They are not transparent to their customer. Since there are hidden cost

Almost a month and I still have not receive the computer case I ordered... Order made on 13 May, it's now 5 June... Very disappointing but it's NOT their fault, "J&T Express" is the causing the problem. You can buy from Techanic, just WhatsApp or email them first on the stock before you make a purchase but make sure you tell them not to use "J&T express" for the delivery...

Pre-ordered the nzxt case H510i from their website at the advice of their staff that it takes 6-10 working days, or 2 weeks to come in. Ordered on 24 June. It is now 24 July and the case has not even arrived at the shop. That’s more than 2 weeks late. And the staff cannot provide the actual tracking of the pre-order or when it will arrive?! the only answer they can give is they will ship as soon as it arrives, but they cannot answer when it is expected to arrive. Some google search shows other buyers kena 3 month wait time for pre-order. I requested for refund and they ignored my request -Terrible customer support -False/misleading timeline promise before purchase i'm legitimately stressed out from this purchase. what a terrible experience with the techanic Update: order cancelled after more than 1 month without a delivery date. Ordered the same case from amazon 10 minutes after and it arrived at my door in 6 days, with full tracking

My first experience with Techanic and it was a terrible and unpleasant one. I chanced upon them in Carousell and decided to give a shot based on their numerous positive reviews in Carousell but I was met with many disappointment and unhappiness along the way. First, i contacted their CS for screenshots of the job progress for 3 times but it wasnt done. Second, i asked the CS to link me up directly with the person servicing my laptop 3 times but also not done. As a result, i have no clarity and transparency of the service quality and status. Thus I have to personally take cab to their place 4 times and incurred transport cost of more than $100. Third, the data migration was not done properly. This caused the system to boot spontaneously from both hard disks, which lead me to find another laptop repair centre, which in turn incurred more transport and service cost. Four, they lost the original carrier bag and power cable which i brought in just one day and gave me some subpar replacement the next day. Last, the CS told me the technician will be in and asked me to come in for that morning. In the end the technician was not there when i arrived and wasted about 2 hours of my time. Horrendous experience and if I could give negative stars, i would do it. Please dont engage their services.

DO NOT ENGAGE THEM. Here’s why. I wanted to buy the last few parts that I needed to build my computer and they said there’s available stock for them and will be able to deliver it within 3-5 working days. As such, on 29 Sept 2020, I made an effort to personally head down to their office to make payment and told me that I’ll receive it within 3-5 days. I was YAY settled. A week later I haven’t receive anything yet and asked if there’s any issues with the delivery. They assured me that there’s stock and I’ll be receiving the parts soon. I just naively believed them. 12 October 2020, two weeks from the order, I find it weird that I’ve not yet received anything and went to ask again where’s my parts. They told me that they have shipped out and I will probably receive it within 1-3 working days. So I waited again thinking it’s on the way. 14 October 2020 they reached out to me to tell me that the items are out of stock and ask me to consider to change to another more expensive model. There’s many lies and misleading information that there’s stocks and delivery has been sent. In reality if delivery have been sent then why would they get back to say that there’s no stock after more than 2 weeks? Shouldn’t those stocks be already shipped out when I made the order? And after telling me that it’s shipped and with the courier man, they tell me that it’s out of stock 2 days later? Courier doesn’t take so many days to delivery, typically 1 day if not max 2 days. No idea what’s up with this shop but everything is just dodgy. Stay away.

Reviews here dont lie. Business is run by shady people. Customer service is lip service. Avoid them with a 10 inch pole unless you enjoy losing money and time

Beware they are as bad as the 1 star reviews and rebranded themselves as gg_repairs on carousell. They are super shady as I sent in my pc for repairs and tried to get me to trade in my components for new ones even though they still work fine and still wanted me to top up 1k after trade my parts in. They charged a outrageous $ 40 for a " tests" that basically found nothing out. So I basically got scammed
