My secondary school

By chance I came Temasek secondary school as a external course facilitator and spend 3 days here. Students here slightly bow in acknowledgement as I walk around in the school grounds. A few times I was lost and ask for directions, the students will offer to walk me there if they are not in class. It is quite an experience to have a teen asking an adult if I would like her to cook me lunch in the school home econ kitchen, and went ahead to cook and serve me noodles. ??? The ambience here gives me a positive vibes, the teachers seem much engaged with the students of what they are doing and offered them encouragement. The principal here works in an open office near the entrance of the school! everybody can see if she is in and what she is doing. She can see who is coming and going. I thought it is so cool! This is a school I would like to see my teens in, I think they will enjoying learning and growing in this positive environment.
