★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like all the foods selling there EXCEPT TZE CHAR! Tze Char food taste below average, I don't understand why they can still survive. The Tze Char staffs also with bad attitude!
For the Owner of the shop - I'm not sure if you are also the owner of the Tze Char. You are aware that your shop is famous and crowded every time. If you allow Tze Char to do reservation on table for whatever reason, please paste a MEMO on the shop so that everyone is aware that this is allowed, or else, it is not fair to other food stall's customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Normal coffee shop beside the market with various good food. The popular ones are the Bak Kut Teh, Prawn noodle and the Zhi Char. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the BKT and seafood soup there. Can be very crowded during lunch time and especially weekends. Love the soup of both but the place is rather warm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "Beware of the Zhe Char at this coffee shop. Three times my mom bought the beef fried rice, three times the rice gone bad! Seriously wasted money for that!
The fried rice doesn't come with normal char siew, instead they serve with mock char siew?!... Why do I want to eat mock food? I'm allergic to gluten, in which they totally have no idea what that is!
I will NEVER EVER buy from the Zhe Char stall ever! I will tell everyone I know never to eat from them! The food is NOT fresh! - 13 May 2018"
One of two coffee shops in this area.
The Bak Kut Teh(BKT), honestly, not too much of a rave for. To each their own. Many will say it's very good, for me I think it's only ok. Out of 5 stars for the BKT I will give a 3.5star for it. It's a malaysian style kind of BKT, cloudy soup! Herbal kind. Whatever you do don't eat it towards the end of the day. They dilute the soup and it tastes yucky. Eat it during the day to taste the better part of the soup.
Only recently an added Chicken rice stall(which the owner moved from the hawker centre side). One of my favourite Chicken rice, with acar(cucumber, carrot and pineapple pickle). Soup is serve through availability.
Below is a picture of my favourite chicken rice at my area. :)
They have an Indian stall which serves the regular Indian food and Tosai too. Food is ok only.
They have an economic rice stall run by uncles. It's the traditional kind of veg, eggs and meat style. In which I like. Not those present day kind of economic rice stall which you find almost everywhere in Sg(which I'm bored with those choices of food). This traditional kind is slowly phasing out of our food system in Sg in which it's very very sad thing to see.
They have a few more stalls like Hokkien Prawn mee, noodles, pig's trotter.
It is a nice decent coffee shop which I will go to often for the price and variations they have.
Bon Appetite! ☺

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This coffee shop hasn’t received the memo regarding easing of Safe Distancing Measures and insists at most 5 pax per table. Don’t come if you have a group of more than 5 pax unless you are ok with the staff coming to harass you every now and then. Apparently the boss doesn’t want any trouble (what trouble I wonder) and will reprimand the staff (even the stall owners) if there are more than 5 pax at a table.
