★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Meatballs with a hint of salted fish. Sotong balls with the right amount of rubbery bounce. The thin noodles al dente; dash of chili and vinegar. The soup is full umami.
Run by the old generation. Proud of their food and heritage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed ball (Squid Ball, Pork Ball, Minced Meat) soup Mee Tai Mak. Here's something different from the usual fishball noodles, this stall which used to be from maxwell food centre has a #gamestrong minced pork ball and squid ball that does not feel machine made (you can actually feel the chew of the squid and the minced pork), the soup may be clear but is in fact really tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Try the mixed if this is your first time here. I don't really like the sotong ball but the others are not bad. The noodle was not bad, too. But i have to agree that the sotong ball is pretty pricy. The fish ball noodle and the minced pork mushroom noodle is of reasonable price. They usually have long queue during lunch time. Btw, i ask them and they said they are open from 7am to 3pm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The handmade sotong balls and meatballs are delicious. Might be a little salty if you enjoy more bland food. Noodles are alright! Closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays. So make sure you come on the right days!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive and small in portion but the squid and meat balls were of very good quality. Much better than the famous stall Dong Fang Hong at Hong Lim. Pleasant sellers too.
