Accessible from the three corners of Hong Leong Building, opposite Lau Pa Sat, The Basement is a place where moderately priced restaurants located. The place got air conditioner and besides restaurants, the place also have florist store, copier service and key duplication service. The best snacks available is the Korean Monnani's cheese pretzel. Better when warm.

I ordered a set of beef hotplate & a tofu soup through foodpanda for my girlfriend. When the driver delivered the items to her. She took a picture of it. Everything were packed in the same plastic bag. Soup was placed at the bottom. It spilled 3/4 out in the plastic bag. The bento set was in the flooding soup, make everything so messy. Cant the restaurant packed the soup in a different bag or use cling wrap to avoid spillage? Omg this is unacceptable!! Please do something about your lousy way of packing takeaway foods. Dont dumb everything in the same bag for convenient sake. Put yourself in the driver shoes. How would you feel when you received your meal in the flooding state?!

Not a large variety of food here. Escalators are also managed so that there is one entrance and one exit - you will not be able to exit the way you came in...

Good that the number of eateries have decreased due to covid, should have been in the first place. Empty shops have been replaced with shared dining spaces, a practice that should be continued. Korean food remains popular though the standard is bad. My favorite is the Chinese herbal chicken that moved from China Square.

A quick lunch meal with colleagues, it’s quite smooth on process where you can pick the counter that wish to purchase from, pick the item and pay. It’s self collecting so it’s not handicap friendly. The food it’s definitely average and I think the price is a bit on the high side. Think restaurant price at food court style. No condiments provided. The chicken is well fried I must say. The bara chirashi don rice is literally local rice which is dry. The fish had the feeling of pre-prepared.
